I never noticed that in this game but I did notice in the music in mk7 neo bowser city has hidden songs that are barely noticeable and one are from mkw and the rest are from n64 toads turnpike and Wii Luigi MK7 titles screen and last bit is toad circuit.

It's amazing how tracks like Maple Treeway and Bowser's Castle as well as DK Summit and Rainbow Road have essentially the same music as each other just at different speeds despite having a polar opposite tone. Maple Treeway's song sounds like the fun yet peaceful Autumn track it represents while Bowser's Castle's song sounds eerie like the track it represents despite actually being the same song! As for DK Summit and Rainbow Road, DK Summit sounds like a fun fast-paced adventure fitting the course theme very well and Rainbow Road sounds like a beautiful space adventure as it should. It is amazing Nintendo was able to do this so well for both sets of tracks.
