Great entry level car for someone who likes early mustangs has a good appearance only needs a couple repairs get in it and cruise it tonight does have a little smoke

I think that radio in the dash is actually the head unit and it works in conjunction with the unit in the glove box. The radio is made to look vintage. Heck man, you didn't even try the AC out.

I'm not a Stang fan,but my neighbor who's got a '66;totally resto-is educating me. This one- really like the color combinaton;but those catchy brakes & accleration lag + smoke....just needs some tlc.

For the color and the body is very nice to see, for the lower leaf spring from front to rear was compressed in order to make it a low rider, why in the hell they did this I don't know, for I can see there is not a lot of travel in the shocks and that is the give a way from the front and the rear. For the oil burn, just put full systemic oil changes in the next 2 and you will see the oil burn go a way. For the brakes, I can go there to but I am not going to for you need to do that for your self. For I will just say this lovely 66 Stang is worth the money honey.

c4 transmission, in 1987 my business partner restored a 66-mustang convertible. i built the c4 then, it still works today,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Yep, years ago I bought a pair of lens transitioning Ray Bans for $200. Had them a week and while boating in the sounds around Tybee Island, looked back once and they flew off into the water! Been buying $20 - $30 glasses since.

Your over-consciencous. You look fine, Nick. Think of them like safety glasses and yeah you don't want to wreck one of those classics because you couldn't see when the sun is glaring or worse flash directly into your eyes. I have prescription glasses I use for driving and shooting competition and I got them in Rayband frames, except the ones called the aviator because I'm a USAF veteran 🇺🇸. I'm not a Ford guy but that is a sweet 'Stang.

@@TobyBaker-hz3rw I work at a place in Columbia Mo, we restored these old Mustang 641/2 to 1973 Mustang and every time we would install all new braking system in these mustangs from the master cylinder to the rear, that how those brakes behaved , almost put my wife into the windshield, my father in law told me, because he purchased a brand new one back in 1965 and drove it off the lot and nearly put his wife into the dashboard, very touchy pedal

@@TobyBaker-hz3rw I own 5 of these my personal self, 641/2, 65 , 66 coupe, 2 of them had power brakes, none of mind stop like that and 65, 66 fastback, 66 had power brakes, no neither one of them stop like that, work in a shop in Columbia Mo from 1982 to 1985 they restore mustangs 641/2 to 66 , 71 to 73 , the 641/2 to 66 all brake components had to be replaced with Ford original parts, from the firewall to the rear, no after market parts, quality was better in 1982, only the power units complete brake jobs had the very touchy brakes ,the master mechanic in the shop told me that he purchased a 1965 fastback GT model and his brakes were the same way , my father-in-law said his brand new mustang in 1966 was very touchy, were they telling the truth, don’t know, I never had the money to rebuild my brake system, I just made it work, I was board , so I thought I would explain this love better, excellent Mustang that you have and I knew it was going to sell quick, wish I could afford it

1 more thing Nick the valve guides are bad in the heads that's why it's blowing smoke when you're idling,,,, going down the road I'm sure it's not smoking simple fix don't have to pull the heads but it's a simple fix I've done plenty of them

If it's not cooling then it's not conditioning the air. They list air conditioning on their website as an option that it has. They should either fix it, remove it from their list of things it has, or list it as non-operational. But I would be more concerned about all that smoke coming out of the tailpipe.
