(Thank you)^infinity! This is one of the most concise sides and useful MAPLE-related videos I have ever seen, and this is after having seen at least 20 videos! Great job and keep up the GREAT and USEFUL work.

Such a great introduction. I have never used Maple (or any MatLab or Mathematica) but this introductory video gives me an incentive to use explore Maple over other apps, because the potential is quickly obvious and far less difficult to understand than in intro videos for Mathematica or Matlab (I know they may not be fully comparable but as a newbie with limited maths acumen, this is gives me an much of what I want to see). I love the document mode with the seamless inline live maths, the plots and the interactive sliders. I don't know what Maple can do for geometry or whether a document with explorer simulations with sliders can be exported so they can be viewed and interacted with by third parties (who will not have Maple), but as you can see, this introduction led me to the right questions to ask. Liked and subbed. Thank you.

Hy. A a simple question (maybe): 1) In 6:30 you write a integral from 0 to 1. 2) around 14:50 you talk about variable assignment. 3) around 18:00 you show how to add an integral within a text block. Is it possible to define a variable, use it to write a integral and compute the integral. Then the change of the variable leading to a change in the integral expression and it’s result? Suppose I set a variable named myvar to 2. Then I add some text and an integral from zero to myvar. Then I run the block. Would this integral be evaluated? If I change myvar to, let us say 3, would the text and result change when I run the block?

Hi there - my suggestion is to pose your question to the MaplePrimes community. Browsing existing threads such as this one should help, and a new question can always be posted otherwise: www.mapleprimes.com/questions/223373-How-Do-I-Put-An-Integral-With-Variable

In my maplesoft 2020 either 2d plot doesn't show or the coding ran. Do I need to change the setting?
@maplesoft2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. After entering your expression, the 2D plot function should be available to the right of your worksheet in the context panel. Ensure that the context panel is not collapsed. Alternatively, you could execute the plot by entering plot(expression) to show the full graph. No other settings need to be adjusted for this feature to work.

Thanks for this very helpful introduction for absolute Maple beginners. The audio volume of this video is a bit low in my opinion, though ;-).

Comment below says the same: sound volume is on 50% on my PC with no external speakers and it is fine. Could be your hardware, particularly if you are viewing on a laptop with no earphones.

Hi, I just installed maple and I do not know how to work with it, I have three nonlinear equations of three unknowns that the rest of the parameters of these three equations are known and I want to get 3 unknowns numerically, is the code ready to solve? Do you have three nonlinear equations of three unknowns to send me?
@maplesoft2 жыл бұрын
There is a wealth of information on MaplePrimes (the site for the Maple user community) about how to solve nonlinear equations. For some examples, check out this: www.mapleprimes.com/search/postsandquestions?term=nonlinear%20equations. If you are unable to find your answer there, feel free to post a question and you will probably get your answer quickly.

Please, how convert maple file to scientific workplace file
@maplesoft3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. Maple does not natively convert files to the SWP format. However, MacKichan Software (the company who develops Scientific Workplace) has published a page that describes a process for doing that here: www.mackichan.com/index.html?techtalk/how/maplelatex.html~mainFrame. It looks like that page is quite old, but hopefully the process still works.

Why, The Maplesoft Company could not create a fantastic Scientific-Graphing Calculator (something between Ti-Nspire and HP Prime ) with a powerful C.A.S. , ... of course dedicated in mathematics ...and maybe different Operating Systems, dedicated to specific scientific areas (i.e. O.S. for Electrical and Computer Engineers , O.S. for Chemical Engineers , etc...)
