Yep, progression in that stage becomes much slower and harder. Grinding is a little boring and bosses are impossible if you don't have equips or allies :/

I've never played maplestory, i wanna get into it and dont plan on spending a dime. Should I start regular or reboot server? I want to start a buccaneer or cannoneer, which is easier to play?

Reboot is free to play but it’s a big grind. It’s hard to progress without levelling multiple characters to 120 for links/legion. It’s possible to do well in normal servers free to play but if you just wanna have fun and get 200 maybe go reboot
