could you explain what you mean when you suggest to use trickblade correctly with 3 bodycounts to get the single target skill?

Sure thing! Trickblade is a 2-in-1 skill: it can be activated to deal a lot of damage to a single target (4180% damage 7 times) or less damage to multiple targets (1210% damage 5 times to 10 enemies). To activate the single target skill, you need two things: 1) The 3 body counts that look like a skull with x3 above the dummy (see 3:00 in the video) 2) Activate assassinate (2nd part) and immediately hit the trickblade skill (again, I think 3:00 is a good place to see that happen). This is also said in the 5th job description of the skill (see 1:25 if you'd like to confirm) Otherwise, the multiple target skill will activate. Hope this helps!

I know it's an old video but correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I understand assassinate darksight synergy gives additional 150% damage and not 1.5x damage as you stated in the video (so the final blow of assassinate base damage goes from 700% to 850% before the 100%final damage, which is technically 2x damage before all boost nodes shenanigans)

Still can't do it. No matter how I push the buttons, there will always be a delay. Oddly, it works fine with Savage Blow.

My only advice would be to use different keys (and possibly enabling sticky keys, as some people have suggested on reddit). If you're still having trouble, maybe posting on this reddit thread might help as well www.reddit.com/r/Maplestory/comments/cd31yb/for_any_shadower_mains_struggling_wnate_and_me/. People have been generally helpful regarding ways to Assassinate and ME cancel. Also if you're in Khroa (or GRAZED) I'd be more than happy to help you out. Such a useful vid and resource! Hope it’s not too long ago for me to post a qn now: Do you also macro/weave boom step + flip the coin? Do you find that necessary/an easy way to keep flip the coin up in fights?

Yeah, thats a good macro to have. It's hard to have 100% uptime 5 stacks FoC without paying a lot of attention to the top right corner, but with the recent update (ME dealing 2 hits instead of 1) I find it a lot easier to stack FoC if you spam it while ME is going off, so even starting from 0 stacks because you forgot to refresh is not too big of a deal. You can just press ME while the boss is idling (like in Damien) or bstep the air out of habit to keep FoC stacks up at 5. Hope this helps!

Thank you for the video :) . may i ask what keyboard are you using? i am using my laptop and the only way i can get it to work is by using ctrl + random key ...but i must use at least ctrl and turn on sticky keys. i thought maybe i should buy a keyboard so i can get it to work without sticky keys and with more convenient keys such as "e" & "r " if that is the case what keyboard you suggest buying?

Yeah sticky keys using ctrl and any other key definitely works on any keyboard! But to answer your question, the only keyboard that I know works is the CM Storm QuickFire TK (Cherry MX Red Switches). I bought this keyboard around 3 years ago for around 60 or so USD but amazon.com seems to not be selling it anymore and other places seem to be selling it near 250+ USD (see for yourself, also 100% do not recommend buying this: www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-QuickFire-TK-Mechanical/dp/B00A378L4C). I know the Corsair Mk. K70 (Cherry MX Blues) doesn't allow "e" and "r" to be used so that's why I use my CM Storm QuickFire TK keyboard for MapleStory (and other games since it's an overall more consistent key press imo). My only advice is to find a keyboard not only for MapleStory but also for other use (e.g. another game, typing, coding, general computer use, etc) since a keyboard should definitely have more than one use than just to Nate and ME cancel or else the keyboard would be devoid of all value. For this reason, my recommendation is to buy a Ducky (or any mechanical) keyboard (just search Ducky keyboard on google you'll find tons). Seems to be a great manufacturer overall among professional gamers and what-not, or you can opt for more popular razer, corsair, logitech etc mechanical cherry mx or other keys to suit your preference!

@@failshad thank you for the info!! also , if i experience delay between animations even after ill get a new keyboard...will it imply that i have ping issues?

@@emil12m I don't think shadowers are ping reliant in any way. If you see there's some delay between animations but your DPS is higher (~20% or more if you do it perfectly) using a 30s or 60s battle analysis of both, it might just be lagging on the screen and that's it. I would say the only reliable way to see if Nate and ME cancel is actually working is if you do a battle analysis test to see if the damage on assassinate increases (much like in the video). I think any less than 20% increase in your damage with ME interweaving and without interweaving is some sort of delay/keyboard problems, etc
