MapleStory - Oz Ring Guide for Dummies (2023)

A guide for dummies who don't know what a ROR4 does.
Today we discuss Tower of Oz rings, such as ROR4, WJ4, Critical Damage, or Crisis HM. What do they do?!? Let's find out.
This is more of a beginner/newbie guide, so it won't be fully in depth. I hope this helps returning players, though!

Do you swap back to your damage ring once the RoR4/WJ4 buff is done, or just keep one equipped at all times?

Question about WJ4 and ROR4, I noticed in the video both of them have their own cooldown duration, if you activate WJ4 then equip ROR4 will the effect of WJ disappear ? If it doesn't disappear is it also possible to combo both rings into 1 burst session? Like activate WJ then ROR ring or the other way around.

The effects do disappear when you unequip it. But the purpose of having both is that if you’re a 2 minute burst class, you burst once with ror or wj, then because the ring is on a 3min cd and you wanna burst off cd solo, then you swap to another ring and burst with that

Do kaiser need oz ring? Can kaiser reset oz ring cd?

So then dw for example dont need wj4 or ror4?

DW definitely wants ror4, or any class for that matter wants ror4 for the late/endgame. Getting off more of your damage during your burst is important because most bosses aren't dummies and you won't have 100% damage uptime, and it is important for when you have supports that multiply your burst (bish, kanna etc.)
