Cant seem to get it working on my end. I'm using HDRP but it shouldn't matter. All the objects are untextured white planes when using Mesh Vertex lit and following your fix exactly. Are you sure there wasn't more to it? I even re-imported the texture as a png and tried to re-apply it. It's like it isn't using the material at all.

do you use the "Sedge" Texture of the tutorial as well? Which Unity Version do you use?
