You are talking the truth. Our leaders should address this issue. Three options are possible: 1) Africa borders were not drawn or designed by African, yet they are our biggest problem and all leaders know this. They must unite Africa by removing borders. 2) If removing borders is difficult because of people management, then design your own borders based on the history and other factors such as languages, culture s and etc. 3) If the previous options are not easy to do. Respect equally the people you're given by the colonial system, but bare in mind that they created those borders for their interests. It is someone's project, Africa must create its own project.

You are smart Mr. Maponga, I've always said the problem of Congo isn't Rwanda? Rwanda is a scapegoat but those pointing at Rwanda are culprits, including Russia who warned Rwanda at the UN emergency seating fir Congo. Yes Rwanda has always welcomed blood minerals, welcoming blood minerals isn't new to Africa, it's upon a country to secure its borders and therefore failure doesn't make those porous borders or neighbours the culprits. Congo shouldn't invite more problems into its situation, work with those at are deep I side the conflict and make peace with all parties involved, it's been 30 years, if they don't heed they get to another 30 without solution.

You seem to particularly have a problem with South Africans. I respect you, but if you think we should be apologetic about our truth (good and bad), then you will continue to misunderstand our issues. In any event, you are entitled to your own opinion. And we can agree to disagree. A big respect for your work in general. Africa is a rich continent, and we should continue to find ways of capitalising on this strength and building generational wealth for generations to come.

South Africa is not illegally making money in Congo, South Africa does enjoy a good trade relationship with Congo. South Africa didn't send rebels to do their bidding. And South Africa didn't just send its military, SADC and the UN invited South Africa.

Thank you Brotha, Everything you said is true. I've read a couple of books on Congo history. What has happened before, and what is happening now, is extremely complex. Colonisation caused a lot of things. Leading up to Congo's independence & after, there were various conflicts, civil wars, proxy wars, etc Congo's land mass, has probably made it hard for the government to control the region properly. Meanwhile rebel's and milita's have gotten over to various parts in Eastern Congo to take various minerals, and they get sold to outside forces. It's long and complex. Before the colonisers came to Africa, in countries, regions & communities, when there were disagreements, persons would go and talk to the heads/peace makers in their communities, talks happened, things were worked out. The colonisers came, and caused a divide. When Africa Unites, it will be the richest continent in the world, rich in so many ways. The last thing I will say is, Rest in Peace, Patrice Lumumba,
