Hi, I would like to collect RBG (Photo) as well as Thermal Imiging concurrently in the same flight, then process both RGB and thermal mapping of land into one large image and compare against an earlier thermal or RBG map (Change detection e.g. to detect flood of at a location. Would I be able to do this using a Mavic 3T and DJI Terra?

When building a mapping mission using the enterprise controller, there is a setting for the camera that lets you choose between 3 options - wide (photo), IF (thermal), or wide + IF. You want to select the third one. It will take a thermal and RGB photo simultaneously for each shot

hola i have been processing the lidar data captured from Zenmuse L1 while processing in DJI Terra reconstruction is getting completed but not all point clouds are getting generated the data has been captured properly even RGB is present and also the LIDAR Data i.e .LDR and .LDR~1 is all present can you help me out what may be the reason.eagerly waiting for the solution xoxox

Can be used for general data collection, however the P1 is recommended for surveying and mapping. Overall depends on the use case.

Terra would not be the best tool for inspecting thermal imagery. If you were to process thermal imagery into a map there would not be any temperature data... DJI Thermal Analysis tool allows you to analyze individual photos.

Any idea if DJI Terra will fully support the M300 RTK. i.e. Mission Planning and other features that are only available for the phantom series?

Not planned to support mission planning/flight in Terra for M300 series. Can complete mission planning in app through Pilot 2 by drawing or kml import. Can also complete detailed mission planning for a waypoint mission with a point cloud to reference what the camera will take a photo of in Terra. Flight Hub 2 will continue to be built out with additional mission planning options.

If your software produces such great results, why are most people who run the L1 using other companies software packages to to fix the accuracy, fuzz and undulation issues in their data sets? Issues that are common with the L1 and why have these issues not been fixed?

DJI Terra covers the base processing of the L1 data after collection. Following this data collection there is a variety of software tools that can be used to optimize the data. If you or someone you work with are running into issue would encourage you to follow our L1 operations guide (www.dji.com/zenmuse-l1/downloads) to make sure data collection is being conducted properly, can always share data sets with us through your enterprise dealer or our support team as well to take a look if still running into issues. We will also have a webinar at the end of this month to dive a bit more into the data collection and processing.
