Empire is a TV show, and i honestly haven't watched it, but im OBSESSED with this medley, and this reaction made me really really happy! :D Please react to "The Wizard of Ahhhs" by Todrick Hall ft. Pentatonix - it's pretty much a complete musical in under 7 minutes and i would love to see your reaction to it!

WOW! I've been watching Marco and Ali for so long I assumed they did that but I just did a quick search and nope. That was the song that introduced me to them back in 2013. I grew up with a cappella and wizard of oz is my fave movie so when they were put together like this by Todrick & PTX, I was an instant pentaholic! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE react to this!!! It'll blow your mind!

I actually had to go check too, i've also pretty much watched them from the beginning - just saw another reaction to Wizard of Ahhhs, and instantly thought "Wait i don't think the boys has watched this it needs to happen!" I honestly need it in my life, i'm sure they will love it!

Marko seemed impressed with the part at 3:13, but a lot of people don't notice that this one part of the medley consists of more tracks than just the 2 live ones, which is why the harmony sounds so rich

FINALLY!! I'VE BEEN REQUESTING THIS FOREVER!! This is one of my fav medleys they've done, I've never seen the show nor did I know the songs but these two just did it for me from the first listen! There are literally so many other fantastic medleys and covers of theirs that you absolutely have to watch!! *Anti Medley, Evolution of Lady Gaga, Feeling Myself, Defying Gravity..* to name a few.. All a MUST WATCH!

How is it fair to the rest or the world that Superfruit and the rest of PTX have so much talent between ALL of them? I'm just glad they all came together to bless us with their gifts. It's scary to think what might have went differently in their lives. Scott and Mitch growing up singing and performing in the same hometown could have turned out to be rivals. Or they could have not been friends with Kirstie. What if Avi had committed to only Classical music? Kevin would be a resident already and go by Dr Olusola right now if he had continued on to med school. What if Matt was sick when his High school chior went to see PTX and he never decided at that performance to focus his music toward accappela? I think God gave them all gifts and a special blessing brought them all together. The right people at the right time. I include Ben Bram in this who arranges/produces with PTX and who introduced Scott to Avi. Ben won the 2 Grammys with them.

As people mentioned, this is from the TV show in the States. You may have missed the last seconds of the video where it said "sponsored by the Fox Broadcasting Company". They released this just before season 2. I have not seen the show (it's on my list - esp Season 1) but I got the soundtrack for season 1 just based on THIS performance and it's AMAZING!!! The show is about a record company so there is a LOT of original music. One of my faves they actually don't include in this medly is "Conqueror" which I first heard on an episode of "So you think you can Dance". Great reaction!

That Was Spectacular and 2 people can do that when they have been working together day after day since elementary school. Empire is a drama show in the states. The show's music is produced by timbaland. It's about a rap mogul and his family. It's kind of a musical, the music from the show is awesome

"Empire" is a TV series on Fox here in the States. Fox actually contracted with Superfruit to do this medley to promote the beginning of Season 2. It was very successful. And your ears were not playing tricks on you -- they sometimes add tracks in post to make the sound a little fuller. They added some harmonies in this one.

This video is way up at the top of my list of Superfruit videos. The songs are from an American TV drama show about a family involved in the music industry. They sing each song so beautifully and the harmonies are just perfect. Mitch's note at "I just want you to look at me, see that it can be with your LOVE" is one of the most beautiful notes ever sung - In my humble opinion. Have you guys reacted to Scott, Mitch and Rozzi Crane's video of Stay with Me? If not, please do. It's also really beautiful.

Hi guys. I have never seen this video before. They know how to sing together so well. Years of doing it, practice making perfection. Marco, you know all about practice making our voices better. I have the same going on for mine. Practice, practice, and then wait for my voice to come back. It doesn't take much for mine to get overly tired. (Having an autoimmune disease really does suck. I sure love to sing. I sound good until my vocal chords dry out, and then they vibrate too much, and I start coughing. It is a bummer. Don't care though. I WILL SING!) Your critique of that specific spot in the video is correct. He is bouncing up into his falsetto quite easily. I really enjoyed this one. Thanx, Mindy

AWE Ya'll can come move over and live with us. We can be your grand parents, and you can live on the glorious Atlantic Coast Line of Florida and be able to go see Space X launch rockets about once a month, or go a few miles south to the Treasure Coast and go out and scuba dive at sunken treasure ship sites. Go on a boat up and down the Indian River and stop off at tiny emerald islands to fish (watch out for Bull Sharks!) and hunt for Gators or go see the rare white pelicans on an island near here where they nest. Then you can drive 2 hours to go to Disney World and visit Harry Potter's Hogwarts. Also, you can see Home Free live, here soon, or take a jaunt to Atlanta, GA and see all kinds of jazz, blues, and rock groups as well as art galleries all over the Southern US, or drive south to Miami and go to South Beach... Then you can take a flight to Oregon and see Peter Hollens. And we live next door to a 5-Star Restaurant with a great little bar that has live music and we face the Indian River where you have a view of the sun rising over the Atlantic Ocean ever morning. You’re absolutely right! There is a cheat. I have noticed in this video and several others, a female voice fills in the third harmony in just a few spots. Not to say they aren’t amazing. They are so amazing! I was just a bit disappointed when I first realized it though. It just seems odd to have a third vocalist off camera, as if they’re not worth acknowledging. I guess that person is more like background music, considering how little they’re used. What do you think about it?
