DC isn't a state. What's wrong with Wyoming?!? No Crowds!! That is "heaven"! Crowded places like DC, NYC Metro area, Chicago, LA ... ok ... ok ... Southern Kalifornistran ... Huston/Dallas .. pretty much any city where the population is over 25,000 to 35,000 are hells on earth. I prefer cities with 1500 ~1800 (not counting bugs, pets, livestock, squirrels, bunnies ...) Never any traffic jams, can usually walk or bicycle where you need to go, no air pollution (unless there is a stockyard, or rendering plant, or ADM making corn ethanal for adding to gasoline, or the farmers have spread the cow/bull patties, meadow muffins, and road apples as fertilizer.)

Some info about the ones I know: - Paraguay is a meme in all latin america. Because in Internet we use to find peaple from every country and memes about all countries. But from Paraguay, there wasn't anything untill we started with the meme that it doesn't exists. - Australia... Well, terraplanists say that Australia doesn't exists in their map, and that the pictures we see of Australia are really in some secret place of Latinamerica. I’ve seen some Americans getting confused by roundabouts and I kinda understand it. In my country people are used to driving manual cars, in smaller and older roads, a roundabout is an easy game compared to the town’s centre. Meanwhile for an American it way be a bit of a challenge.

Roundabouts are much safer than intersections because the cars collide at a less lethal angle and at a lower speed than in the case of someone running a red light. You can't prevent all accidents from happening but you can lower the damage by building a roundabout ⭕🚙

Roundabouts are pretty good in low- to mid level traffic situations but if there is a high traffic load they tend to cause problems. I have a few roundabouts where I live where you can get indefinitely stuck because cars already in the roundabout always have priority over those entering it. If there is one main road and one side road, both going into the roundabout, there is a chance that if you are coming from the side road, there will never be a gap where you can merge and enter the roundabout. Also, roundabouts take up a lot of space. This is why you often see them outside of cities where land is relatively cheap, but not so often inside cities where land is more expensive.
