FYI According to Maquet Getinge it's important to stop the pump for 5 seconds (0 RPM) during priming between the 3000 and 4000 RPM phases. The reason is that microbubbles can catch on the impeller of the centrifugal pump. stopping it for 5 sec "releases" those microbubbles which are then de-aired in the following high RPM phase. It's also mentioned in their official priming guideline.
