I just watched this movie... my heart is broken, but at the same time, I feel a warm feeling growing inside me. This movie taught me how much love is valuable, how much human connection is important. The story's really deep, and invite us to rethink how we consider the mother's figure. A mother is so much more than just providing you life and food, a mother is here to teach you how to embrace yourself and the world. Also, this movie is teaching us a beautiful lesson : the ephemeral is beautiful, everything is temporary and we should live our life with passion, with art, with soul and with love. It's okay to be vulnerable, vulnerable is strong. Eventually, separation is not necessarily sad, separation is the result of a beautiful experience, and experience is life. xx

I have a doubt, I saw the movie more than 5 times and the truth was I saw it with different types of translations, but in one it came out that the name of the male protagonist was Erial and in another it was Ariel. I don't know if anyone could help me to know which one is the best fit.
@Azukos4 жыл бұрын
In japanese, it's more like "Eriaru". If you are suggesting one of these two, I would say Erial... but, well, Ariel is more poetic to our western ears I guess. :)

Movie didn't do that well for me, it was quite fast paced and most of the time it didn't really make sense, but I really have to agree the art, animation and music of this anime is really the rarest kind of diamond you could find. A shame that the storyline wasn't that good, but still, brought me to tears with it's presence of art and music :') beautiful. Would 6/10 recommend

Completely agree, I had a hard time with the storyline as well. I still can't figure out what this movie's message is, but I still really enjoyed it and this music absolutely kills me.
@mintbot46575 жыл бұрын
@@strrb8578 I think the story's lesson is either around a Mom's love, how an immortal/ageless life is painful, or how love is made up from both negative and positive emotions. I personally think the story's lesson is about how things aren't beautiful because they last.
@strrb85785 жыл бұрын
@@mintbot4657 Yeah I can see all that as well. But it bugs me a beat because usually, a movie has one single and clear message. Here, i feel like the movie wants to tell too many, that's why they're unclear.
@LynnAMV5 жыл бұрын
I personally found the story to be easy to catch on and it was beautifully made. I don't enjoy anime movies that often but this is a master piece that teared me up, gave me a rollercoaster of emotions, taught me about a mother's love and how everything changes and we should spend those small amount of time with our love ones. It was an amazing movie.
