Me who ranked the City shirts a 9: *thinking Maqwell won’t agree with me* So City is my top favourite overall. I definitely agree with the away shirt (I thought it reminded me of the 2008-09 season but I was wrong). The third shirt, no offence, I love this DESIGN. Second is United. The away shirt was my favourite. The third shirt is a so-so for me. It’s too retro. Third is Newcastle. I do like the retro outfit for the third outfit.

To be fair, the blue is part of the flag of Bavaria (and Schleswig-Holstein as well). Also (and I know I'm going on a tangent): Let's not forget in the Bayern München red and blue kit (and red, white and blue are the colours of the club), that the club was known as the "Jewish" club in Germany that tried to defy Adolf Hitler and the Nazis for as long as they could even after their club patriarch Kurt Landauer (who was Jewish and survived Dachau) was forced into exile and long before FC Bayern was forced late in the dictatorship to adopt the swastika. Their local rivals, TSV 1860 München, had a bigger affinity towards the Nazis back in the day. Landauer eventually became the first post-war President of FC Bayern, resuming his duties for a few years.
