maybe bc she was a lil annoying in S1 towards Amber at least? Like flirting with your friends bf ... hm idk Sure she got better character development but her jealousy and immaturity made her annoying . she learned something from it so in S 2 she was so much better but still Sibuna was better off without her That's my opinion they were perfect just as they were .

also if Mara joined Sibuna Jerome would want that too and joy ... they couldn't add everyone it would be too crowded the beauty of Anubis is how it has different stories and not everyone is involved. So it made sense to me In s two only mara , joy jerome and Eddie weren't involved ( mick left so he doesn't count) so adding mara would add 3 more bc those 3 would be like we want that too . Plus Jerome already knew about sibuna same as joy and joy even told patricia that she disliked how much they left her out so ya

just seeing this now but I loved Mara's character but everyone made her out to be the villain when she was just hurting/left out of everything. she always was seen as the nerd, the dork, no one ever took her seriously. I wish she would've been in Sibuna since the beginning. I loved her in the movie and her being in Sibuna was my favorite part of the whole movie tbh side note: it's so funny how the only person who never found out about Sibuna was Mick lol. great edit!
