Seasons 1 and 2 were really solid and the ending of 2 setup for an awesome season 3- both characterwise and plot wise. Victor with the tears of gold left to him by his father, Eddie being Nina's protector. The dynamics would have been amazing had Natalia not quit. As soon as they explained what happened to Nina I quit watching the show

I know my reply is crazy late, but i both agree and disagree with Natalias decision to leave the show. even tho she left the show to focus on her college, she couldve just filmed the 3rd season for that single year and than leave for college💀

Nina had been the center of almost every story plot so for her to suddenly went away felt ....like it was all for nothing Maybe it would be better if they somehow were able to shoot with Nina for 3 episodes only and kill her character off in the new series rather than "well Nina moved away off screen, sorry!"

I loved the show too much to just drop it after Nina left. Honestly what hurt me more than Nina leaving was when Amber left, she was such a hilarious character. And I was too invested to drop it. Season 3 definitely felt different with a new American character replacing Nina and another goof (Willow) replacing Amber but I still enjoyed their characters. I still remember feeling Nina’s presence throughout the season and hoping that she’d make a surprise appearance at the end to save everyone 😂😂😂😂 Damn was I wrong

Throughout season 3, even tho Eddie had matured in someways, the guy wasn’t a natural leader. He was at odds with members of the group in almost every episode because he either kept secrets, felt he couldn’t trust some of them, acted rash or all of the above. Very charismatic character, but also very dumb

Idc what anyone says, I fucking loved this show when it was premiering new episodes on Nickelodeon back in the early 2010s. The artifacts, the sneaking around, the discoveries and secrets, the revelations ,the main cast of friends and the villains all had me HOOKED. Looking back yea it’s pretty cheesy, but they had me in my SEAT every week 🤣🤣🤣 Such good memories watching this show on school nights and over the summer too

Nickelodeon canceled the series due to their "rebranding" at the time. They wanted to target only little kids (ages 2-11) at the time (late 2012/2013) so they canceled this show and many others on their network (How To Rock, Bucket & Skinner, Victorious, Big Time Rush, Supah Ninjas, etc) while iCarly ended at this time as well. Also, Nick showed outright favoritism to Dan Schneider's content & SpongeBob so any live-action show that wasn't from Schneider got put on the backburner & mistreated. "House of Anubis" was still a good series though.

all three versions (dutch, german, and english) hav been such a comfort show for me since my childhood! i think season 3 of HOA gets way too much hate just because nina and amber left. the show stayed as goofy and fun as the previous two seasons even without them! people who didn't watch it when it aired should give it a chance now

Wow, I really couldn't tell you didn't know any of this stuff before you looked it up for this video, you sounded like you were a genuine fan back in the day. Well since you didn't know about this and even if you did you most likely wouldn't have mentioned it, I wanted to tell you that there is one slight caviot about one of the things you said. About the 190 episodes thing. While it is technically true that there are 190 episodes, that number is slightly misleading and here is why. In the first two seasons one 22 minute segment consisted of two 11 minute episodes. In season 3 one 22 minute segment was one 22 minute episode. In season 3 the episodes were twice as long as the first two seasons meaning even though it seems like season 1 is longer than season 3 because season 1 has 60 episodes and season 3 has 40, season 3 is actually longer because 40 episodes in season 3 is like 80 episodes in season 1.

I like season 3, but it didn't feel the same without Nina later Amber left. Nina, Amber, and Fabian were the original members of Sibuna, so it sad to see just Fabian. I was hoping to see more of Nina and Eddie's friendship. I did like about season 3 , and everyone had an important role in the show. Season 2 was the best season of them all. This show was such a big thing in the Netherlands to bad here in the U.S it was step to aside due to Dan Schneider shows. I did feel the show had a good run. In the other verisons, the show had about 3 to 4 seasons. Sadly the U.S didnt gave HOA a shot

Unless they do like a Pretty Little Liars thing. But I’m not sure if that did any good :/ I just wished they did a reunion thing since it’s been ten years

Agreed! The Frobisher Smithe storyline was super intense. Seasons 1 and 2 always kept the main conflict a secret and away from the rest of the school. But season 3 finally allowed for the villains to reveal themselves to the students and the larger world, even if mostly everyone forgets about it by the end Incorporating characters that had no idea what was going on into the plot was a very unique choice which I enjoyed

I loved season 1 of this show and liked season 2. But the coupling of this show was so confusing for me by season 3. Fabian is suddenly with Mara, Joy and Jerome somehow are a thing, Alfie is with Willow. Both my favorites Nina and Amber are not around 🥲 Amber only was there for a brief moment but also left.

S3 is my favorite now that i have rewatched. Ofc i loved nina’s storyline and the originality but they did an amazing job imo without her. I loved how it made sense as well, setting Eddie up in the final episode of S2 revealing he is the osirian for s3 LOVEE it. S3 just feels so fresh and more intense
