This is my mom's hometown. The brother of Father Corral, a priest of this Marogondon church was my classmate and close friend during high school days and we used to go to a dungeon in the basement of this church. You wouldn't believe how big is the dungeon that it is like you went back in time during the Spanish era in the Philippines. We have always hung out inside this church before. Behind this church is the town's cemetery. I was surprised that is now fenced. And they also fixed the face of the church. It used to be riddled with holes from bullets and cannon shells because of WW2.

At (0.20) on the right. My aunts ( with green gate, yellow-painted wooden walls.) house!! My Uncle (ex-Mayor Cuello)used to be the Mayor of this town during the 70's.

I was listening to the people the way they speak Tagalog. Seems like many are not originally from this town. Because Cavitenios has a melodic accent with their Tagalog. So the Mayor now is a Rillo. Ang mga Rillo ay is a sa mga matatadang pamilya at original na taga Maragondon. His grandfather was our principal in high school.

This park that you are walking on used to be just a huge island with neatly planted bernuda grass, ba tawag dun. At may basketball court. They removed our basketball court!??! Tambayan namin nuon yun ha.
