Now a days, anyone can give a hit song...Standing in their comfort zone, careful not to come out of their success formula or conventional rhythms, giving audiences a song to jump, whistle and claps and then vanishing after few years.... Just as Anirudh and SaNa were coming into their prime, they were bridging the gap with Rahman in contemporary film music. As an ARR fan I honestly admit 2017-2021 was a lean season with no goosebumps worthy songs. I thought like Raja faded in the latter part of 2000's(Virumaandi being his last classic acc to me) , ARR too would fade out slowly. I thought that's why he increased his concert touring, maybe he felt his creativity slowing down. How wrong was I ??? In the latter part of 2022 Rahman has put himself ten steps ahead of others again. ARR is like a Phoenix.
