Ube-Camote de Leche
Camote or Sweet potato is a root crop or root vegetable. There are so many recipe you can make using camote. Like Camote que, ginataang halo halo, baked camote, camote balls, sweetened camote and many more. Camote has a mild flavor that's why you can infuse another flavor to make it more delectable. Camote is also the best substitute if you cannot find Ube or purple yam. For this video we will make a fancy recipe using camote and we will add another flavor to make it very special.
Ingredients:
1/2 kg camote, boiled & peeled
150ml Ube-macapuno Condensed milk(less if preferred)
1 tbsp margarine/butter
1 tsp violet food color(optional)
Leche flan:
1 tbsp gelatin
2 tbsp water(room temp.)
3 large eggs
3 cups evaporated milk
300 ml condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp yellow food color(optional)
1/4 cup grated cheese
