No. I had this receiver and was very underwhelmed by the sound quality. I returned it. It doesn't sound anything like the older SR series in two channel.

What is the real difference with this and 5015 model. Is there any hardware that has changed or any realistic features to justify the cost between cinema 60 and 5015 please?

It has better resolution menus, better or different DAC, special care into details, faster processing power and fully functional 4K/120Hz video inputs/outputs and so on.

If you compare it to PM8006, quality was clearly not a priority in Cinema 60. Look at transformers - classical brick, no shielding, inside it's a complete mess full of PCBs.

The PM8006 is also an overrated piece of kit. You can't however compare it to this AVR, which does tons more things than your stereo amp / stereo DAC basic combo. Electronics design basics. Learn it ;)

Deluso per qualita' sonora in confronto a harman kardon avr 430 di 18 anni. Ovviamente Cinema 60 e' migliore per tutte le ultime connessioni: hdmi, bluethoot, wifi, app, decodifiche. Per quanto riguarda la visione di un film 5.1 con connessione coassiale alla tv rispetto alla connessione hdmi, AVR 430 surclassa Cinema 60 per qualita' audio. Sto facendo di tutto per impostare cinema 60 perche' la qualita' sonora si avvicini a avr 430 e a dire il vero sempre piu' imparando ad usarlo ho migliorato molto l' esperienza cinematografica ma e' una continua rincorsa sull' apparecchio piu' vecchio. in stereo AVR migliore in assoluto.
