Marantz Processor VS Rotel Processor, Which Do I Prefer?

🤯 I'm surprised and not surprised of the end result. Seems only a small few of people really like the av7706 compared to other processors. I'm still on the fence about trying the emotiva xmc 2 processor. For now I still have the av7706. Good video 👍🏾

Did you run audyssey on the Marantz and Dirac on Rotel?

Good question, I don’t run any room correction on any of them. I do know that’s important for now I don’t because it doesn’t come out perfectly for me with audyssey and my mark ones doesn’t have Dirac live but I heard great things bout it and would definitely do room correction in the future with Dirac

So few reviews of the Rotel… It’s also good to understand that your impressions and views are based on both not using auto calibration. I’m keen on the Rotel but not sure I should wait for them to release a HDMI 2.1 in the future.

I appreciate your great comments, those are the kinds of communications that will help all of us who’s into home audio better our experiences and knowledge. I do hope rotel comes out with an 2.1 hdmi support; as far as if you should wait for it is a tough decision.

Nice video. But i find it funny that you say that the 7706 is powerfull enough and gives a punch.. Ehh..am i missing something? It depends on the amps you connect tbis with..or am i wrong?

Thank you, Yes an amplifier gives the power but you still need a good processor to provide that punch so that the amp can deliver that punch.
