Yea you really need context pope hugged him hard because jj went to jail for pope and that’s when pope seen him after he got out and it’s not a hickey it’s bruises from jj dad who abuses him

Jj said he didn’t want things to get weird between them because pope had a thing with Kiera well to her it was just sex to him he actually liked her it she ended things before they got serious and then JJ and her had a moment and pope caught them and tried pushing Kiera away so he wouldn’t ruin his friendship with pope cause there like brothers but then pope started developing feelings for Cleo and forgot about JJ and Kiera so then JJ was able to finally go for her completely but then he didn’t think he was good enough because her parents and then towards the end realized he finally gets what wanted so he took the shot and now they dating but pope and JJ are straight asf I personally love cleo though out of all the girls
