I agree 100%. I had the Marathon General Purpose and that sold me on the tritium. I saved up and got the TSAR just last week. You're 100% accurate on all counts. One could get the stainless bracelet to try to "elevate" it a bit, but it will never fit under a dress shirt, and at the end of the day it is definitely a no-nonsense tool watch so even with the bracelet it won't be dressy. I've worn mine every day (and I sleep with it on as you do), and for the size I don't even notice it. I won't even mind if / when it gets banged up because I intend to wear it as a tool watch. Great commentary / review!

So I’m NOT the only one who sleeps with it on!!😂😂…. Yeah I have no desire for the bracelet at least on that watch. The rubber strap works great and is very good quality!… thanks for you thoughts!

I've had my TSAR since 2010. I wore it in the army. I wore it on duty as LE. I've worn it in the mountains and in the ocean. It's been banged on everything from concrete to metal weapon racks. It's taken all the abuse and just keeps working with just battery changes. It's time for new tritium (still glows it's just dim) so it's going to Marathon for a new dial and service while it's there. I do wear it in the office now that I'm riding a desk but I'm not in the type of office environment that requires me to be dressy. This isn't the watch for that type of attire.

Awesome! I have no doubt about it being a watch that withstands almost any situation! Good to know that the tritium gave you about 15 years before deciding to send to them to service it. You got a great testimony about a great watch! I love mine!

I think a Squale with a black dial could be an "only" watch. Then again I would also want an Onda to and a Matic. That's just my picks for Squale)))) 😉
