You looked like you were having trouble turning the rolex bezel, The cw is Alot better than the much older rolex. And the reason for the quietness of the rolex is that their is a small aluminium ball bearing underneath the bezal at the twelve o'clock. The cw has a ceramic ball to stop wear and tear over time hence sounds louder. All the best Andrew

@@Andy-ys8sj Thanks for that info! I thought it was funny that you can hear more of the infamous older Rolex bracelet jingle than the bezel click when I was turning the Subs bezel. So I guess I’m not crazy thinking the CW compares quite well to the Rolex.

I genuinely believe that the CW line right now has quality that stands up to and surpasses the quality of many Tudor, Omega, Rolex, and Longines models. I wouldn't be surprised if in 25 years we were looking at the 2020+ CW's like we look at vintage Rolex. I think they're that good, truly.

Any info would help Thanks.
@RSSpecАй бұрын
Great question. I just looked up my CW invoices for both watches and they do show a different part number for each watches end links which CW is calling shoulders. Pretty sure the bracelet itself would interchange, but apparently there may be a slight difference in the dimensions of the end links. Perhaps CW sells that end link by itself. The slight difference may be that the Sealander is a 39mm case and even though they both are 20mm lug width, some dimension must be slightly different. Ask the question to CW via E mail, they’re good at getting back to you even if it takes a day or two. They can confirm all that and ask if you can buy just the end links. Thanks!!

The assembly, Qc levels ans parts quality is good at CWard for the price but my only problem is the entry level mouvement, Sellita SW200-1, they should charge a bit more or give the option of a better mouvement, then they would have great watch all around… At the present time, it like a beautiful entry level luxury car with a cheap 4 cylinders engine
@RSSpecАй бұрын
The Sellita’s not the worst they could have used but for sure not the best, especially the 38 hour reserve that’s way behind what else is available! Plus side is reliability and service cost and mine run about 5-7 seconds fast a day which is acceptable at this price. But certainly a valid gripe feeling you want a better movement.!

I've had my TSAR since 2010. I wore it in the army. I wore it on duty as LE. I've worn it in the mountains and in the ocean. It's been banged on everything from concrete to metal weapon racks. It's taken all the abuse and just keeps working with just battery changes. It's time for new tritium (still glows it's just dim) so it's going to Marathon for a new dial and service while it's there. I do wear it in the office now that I'm riding a desk but I'm not in the type of office environment that requires me to be dressy. This isn't the watch for that type of attire.

I was in a Tudor Boutique this week looking at the new 41mm Vlacj Bay, nicer than the 54/58 I feel but at nearly £4k I didn't think it felt and better than the C63, albeit I know the movement is superior with superior maintenance costs! One could get the stainless bracelet to try to "elevate" it a bit, but it will never fit under a dress shirt, and at the end of the day it is definitely a no-nonsense tool watch so even with the bracelet it won't be dressy. I've worn mine every day (and I sleep with it on as you do), and for the size I don't even notice it. I won't even mind if / when it gets banged up because I intend to wear it as a tool watch.
