"How far is that marathon?" I have heard it all before-and this video makes some excellent points. While attending (and I am embarrassed to admit this) -a four year university at a student union-a non runner told me they had held a "5K Marathon" there the previous week. Fortunately though not a complete pillar of knowledge, I have completed 148 events including the "original" Athens marathon and took her comment with a grain of salt. BTW I have also heard the "Did you win?" 4th was my best.

3hrs 30min. I smashed that, but struggled to break 3:00. Love the reference to people confusing marathons with half marathons. people do that all the time. It's double the distance people! :-) Check mine out if you get a chance.

"How far is that marathon?" I believe I hear this twice or three times after I finish a whichever distance running race. KKK
