Why is everyone arguing running form, who is faster, blah blah blah. Running is freedom. It is not a question of speed, distance, times, or sweat but it is heart. People are going to beat you, always will. Don't run to be the best runner, run to be the best you.

I run everyday as far as I can, I'm not a professional runner, I feel that I run like a child, but I don't care at all, I feel so happy with it and when I'm done with it, believe me, I feel so good the entire day. Running is awesome. Try to run, even if you can't, you are going to do it right!

not sure if @saucony has got a better commercial than this one yet or ever, this ad together with the Murakamis book "What I Talk About When I Talk About Running" are most inspiring to me

Being tough and Flexible is strength. Mentally Stong, Physically Strong. Running when its cold and Windy, or Squating when you have had little to eat that day. No Pain No Gain. Have a good Attitude, and remember you only have One Life.

Each trial that is presented in the clips is feats that takes allot of our energy and strength to complete. In the process, it makes up week, but those who dig deep down within one self and with a pair of SACONY BY, their side are able to concern any obstacles that one is face with. Hence, you see in each clip everyone either gets to the top of a hill or is in the process of accomplishing this task

@huyly Heal striking is when you land on your heels. If you ever watch Anton Krupicka run you'll notice he is landing on the balls of his feet, not heels. Its easy to hurt yourself if you do long distances with heel strike.

I think we are all missing the point of the commercial. SACONY IS TRYING TO GET DEEP INTO OUR PHYSIOLOGICAL MIND and ask the question how do each of us define strong, and everyone has his or her own interpretation.

Strong can be described in many ways. It it up to each person to know what strong is. The generalization of strong could be related to the following: Mind, Body and Spiritual/God Fearing. Anything that does not include those 3 things.. Comment bellow :).

Although they are strong and big, and run longer runs than merely 100mtrs, they could not possibly run the distances that long distance runners run, let alone at a relatively similar pace. Haile would run 140miles per week in training; Bolt himself could not manage that in one week off the cuff, and probably not even a 20 mile run. Dont be so quick to shout that sprinters just cos they are big and tough are better than everyone.

you dont need long hair, or a mountain, just lace up your sneakers and take off. Make the road your mountain, make the haters and your own negative energy your enemies to conquer. find your inner energy. Find your inner fire, make the road in front of you the tracks up the mighty rocky mountains and you are a powerful steam engine that needs to get over to the other side

Did you seriously just use another person's accomplishments to argue against my point. Who is Usian Bolt? The "fastest man alive" for how long or for what 100 meters. Give him a mile to run, how fast is he then? I don't mean to discourage people to run for time or what not. But one day you might realize you won't be the fastest, the strongest, or anything other than you. You have to find what you are, where your limits are... hell you have to "Find your strong."

@dorinff Saucony is trying to get deep into our minds so we visit their website and spend $100 on their shoes (only to find out that we're actually so out of shape that walking to the front door, opening it, and putting on our new $100 Saucony's leaves us winded).
@TheQuietObserver0113 жыл бұрын
@forleif There's nothing wrong with landing on the heel, but slapping the front of the foot down like a champ (like jesus here) isn't ideal. If you watch the 'geometry of strong' video, that is the kind of running that jesus should have been running with. Especially wearing a shoe like the kinvara
