2022 saw a huge growth in Crypto in the #Move2Earn (#m2e) within Blockchains and web 3.0. I was the face of #STEPN for the better part of the year and saw within myself the changes that gamification could help encourage users to change their lifestyles for the better.
As an aging male in my early 40s, in February I couldn't run 10 km/h for 10 minutes straight, yet in October I ran my first marathon in Lubeck, Germany at 3h6m8s, and my second marathon 3 weeks later in Athens for 2h59m31s.
I've opened the door to a whole new world, and it's something I will continue to explore and hope to help people push into themselves.

Hey brother: glade your talking about your keto experience in a long distance experience. Keto is a great weight loss tool, but it sure has its limitations on glycogen and the anaerobic cardio vascular system.

Yup, it was certainly an experience, I'd like to try one fully Keto one time, but for the speed I tried to push, the body just can't convert fat to energy quick enough. I'm still generally speaking living a Keto life, I'll experiment where I get the chance

@@solanagamingwithbarndog7348 yeah a keto life style has challenges once glycogen stores are depleted and are needed in order to perform ATP production for muscle contraction. Daily life for most people ketone are enough to perform daily energy needs and APT needs. But it dose get challenging as it’s not going to be very effective or as on demand as it would be if the body was saturated in glycogen. I’ve read this in books and as a strength coach I don’t see many long distance keto runners. And when I do most of them have to carb load to survive Thank your mother for the rabbits brother I appreciate you.

@Universoul Strength This was absolutely the case, and my running coach said as much, Keto just isn't oxygen efficient enough. Doing the 25km at home I guess just put me in a safe zone with them and I just needed to explore a full in trying it. I guess it comes down to seeing where the speed difference is, when you absolutely need to carb load, but as I'm not running them regular enough, I'm always going to go for "race speeds" at the start to explore that part of it.

@@universoulstrength7343 Wouldn't call mine on the sporting science type radar, more just an amateur attempt to body hack my own. I love the whole developing more of an understanding of food in my late 30s till now. We really do underestimate the food we use on a daily basis I've found, and having good food is actually quite easy, something I worked hard to change in my own life, so hoping the information comes out in little dribs and drabs as people become more aware of it. Really though for people in the marathon type running, they would have a better understanding of food and it's power, it's about helping the people progressing their way there.
