EDIT: arlaeus has made a better tutorial style video for people using my route - I only made this video 2 people on my server.

How do you go about the loot in these runs? Do you just take epics? Take all items that are green/blue/epic?

Masterloot w/ pass on loot turned on (i.imgur.com/nTM3GON.png) and i just yoink blues/epics for disenchanting. that way only blues+ sparkle selling xp not loot.

I've been skipping the slow slime guys since they never make it to the end but them if pulling them insures that the bigger slimes get leashed, i'm all in. Gonna def give it a shot. I usually end up with somewhere between 160-170 mobs so definitely doing something wrong and losing a few mobs.

I followed this guy's path and still 160-170 mobs consistent. I ran back and found that about 2-3 groups of borers and half the noxious slime always reset. Wondering why.

@@edithjarvisfriday Same exact thing, I think it has something to do with being a gnome, same how in Kill Phase we have to be closer to the ledge to blizzard because we arent tall enough to get into LOS without being closer then humans on the ledge. We also swim in hydras... but swim belt takes care of that... I can't get 191 like this ever. RARELY 180 but thats like 1/10... Idk man, they POOF dissapear.

I turned on 0.25x playback speed and counted the borers and slimes (please correct me if I'm wrong): ~15 borers ~9 noxious slimes In conclusion, excellent pull/path but most still reset.

If you run the pull through, and go back through the instance and kill whatever you're having reset, you'll see that you end up at the same KC as me with all mobs in my path dead. You're just having problems counting because of how theyre stacked in the video.

@@nysyli Hm I see what you're saying. It's just a bit hard to see the kill breakdown without the Frags from the Details addon shown. Would be awesome if you could include that in future videos. Or if you could go back through the instance to show us as definite proof.

pulling the 2 packs of slow slimes prevents the fast slimes from resetting, also, be careful where u blink.

@@nysyli The 2 packs you pull are the ones that reset them if you kill slow slimes before pull you dont get any resets

Tried ur blizzard at 4:59, notice same group of slimes and borers Insta disappear. Don't know how are u keeping them in this video, makes no sense

Are you a gnome by chance? They literally always poof insta dissapear for me there too with very minimal distance, closer then he is in this video for a few attempts too. I think gnomes have problems doing it.

@@aWindydog It's not, at least for a majority of people. i've done it a lot and more or less got the 180 mobs, but it was not easy for me and it isnt for a lot of people too. there are a lot of factors you have to take into account while doing this

if you're having that low of a mob count youre blinking in places I'm not. Almost all mob resets are due to not pulling the slow slimes/blinking in bad spots.

I turned your video on and followed it step by step while 3 seconds behind, doing exactly what you do down to the letter, yet the mobs do not group up, they aren't "weeks behind me", I have no time to frost bolt or pull anything in the rooms you do. This is just weird. It's like you're moving faster than my character (yes i have minor speed to boots).

how geared do you have to be to do Mara like this?

Not very. Just need +int +stam (of the eagle) gear. You want a lot of life and mana. Spell power isn't too important. If you have pre-raid bis gear, most ppl swap them out for high level green items with more stats from the auction house. But If you can get something like tier 2 gear that is optimal because it has both.

TheLordstrider If you cant watch more then 30 minutes of content to learn a pull that’s one of the hardest to get down consistently, you probably should stick to something easier. plenty of mara 1 pull videos and you quit after seeing this one video.
