It’s such a shame that the duo got split up when Verbole met his fate at one of the castle battles. Also it’s crazy that those two were hugely responsible for the downfall of most of the southern castle’s despite having a minimal army and having lost their kingdom a while ago.

People argue over what made Florymonde such a fearsome warrior, some argue the greatest of our age, and the opinions run from, his hammer was blessed by a god, to the Trolls blood he imbibed that gave him a ridiculous healing speed, with wounds sometimes closing before the eyes of his terrified opponents. Others argue that it was the death of his own King that gave him the rage and then skill to kill 4 other Kings in vengeance. More still say it was the sheer number of battles he participed in and the number of other Heroes he slew that gave him his prowess. But my favorite theory is this: Not too long after the slaying of his King, and sacking of his hometown, Florymonde ran into the, at that time the undisputed greatest warrior and now Legend: Milkisgood. It was in some farmers field, nowhere of note, and Florymonde only had a couple companions with him. Almost immediately after realizing who the man leaning against the farmers fence WAS, the rest of his companions fled in terror, sure they were going to be struck down, but Florymonde approached several times, testing and, according to "eyewitnesses" exchanging words with the great Knight. Florymonde soon left as well, sprinting after his companions, but it was not long after that, that his rise began in earnest. What did Milkisgood say to the youngster? Was it advice? Was it the location of a treasure? No-one can say for sure, as both men and all their companions are now dead, but the encounter lives in the memory of those who follow the two legends of our age and debate their merits as the greatest.

Shiloh was so tragic. He was the last surviving yellow marble who last served under the Yellow kingdom. Even though he wasn’t as strong, as adaptive, nor as talented as any other marbles were, but he still held on to his yellow flag. Even though he wasn’t blessed with powerful armies nor overwhelming power-ups, but he still kept pushing himself, despite knowing the odds were heavily stacked against him. Because he remembered, the past pride and joy, and the nationalistic soul of his. Because deep down, the Yellow kingdom still exists even in his heart. Shiloh believed that he could rebuild the kingdom. He firmly believed in it. Rest in forever peace, Shiloh the Resolute.

What’s impressive is that before, red has many competent generals to rely on. But in this part red didn’t need generals, their armies were outright better equipped to defeat legendary opponents who felled many villages before them. Florrymonde, Nell, and the other monks created a strong veteran army, but couldn’t defeat a logistical and organizational titan like red.

Shiloh, a not well known in the era of milkisgood, fought 15 battles and won 11 which almost half he fought alone. He made a name and was known as the last yellow general after his allies are all killed or brainwashed by the enemy monks. He won countless battles against bigger armies than him. In his last battle, he faced with his 2 former allies who were brainwashed by the purple army Donston and Kikion the Kingslayer. He fought bravely against his 2 former allies and created an attack against Donston. Unfortunately, fate is not in his side this time. Donston created an unexpected swing with his axe, an attack Shiloh didn't anticipate. It was a very lethal hit on which he made a try to retreat knowing he stand no chance against his allies. Right before he could escape, Donston hit him in his back and in his last second, turned to Donston knowing this is his last battle for his kingdom and thus Donston swinged his axe one last time killing Shiloh.

With that, we've come to the completion of the longest Marble Kingdoms episode to date. Part 2 didn't get off to a good start (you probably know what I mean by that). All of that hype and anticipation from the cliffhanger only for it to fall flat. Fortunately, the rest of Marble Kingdoms 23 made up for it in spades. I've already covered all of the major changes that were made for MK23, so let's get right to the good stuff. We've got two legendary warriors and quite a few narratively important combatants that played a huge role in the progression of the war. With past heroes being eligible for inclusion in future episodes through the summon power-up, it no longer feels appropriate to say that this is an addendum specifically for a hypothetical MK All-Stars episode that may or may not happen. So, name change. This is the MK23 addendum to the Marble Kingdoms Hall of Fame: Hammerman Florymonde, Level 9 and a four-times-over kingslayer - The Second Coming of Thor Himself (Hammermen are arguably the most useless class that can be produced from a village (obviously farmers and a couple of the bandit-specific classes are more useless). It's made very apparent by that fact that prior to MK23, the highest level that a hammerman has ever achieved is 3, maybe 4. This only serves to make Florymonde even more of a complete anomaly, because HOLY COW DID HE KICK ASS AND TAKE NAMES! That rumbling you hear? That's not an earthquake. That's the hammer that's going to cave your skull in. With the help of some brave sidekicks, Florymonde would put the fear of God into everyone, wasting entire armies and taking the heads of four kings along the way. The amount of named heroes he put down is staggering, even considering his overall kill count. He may not have been able to get the win for the Blue Kingdom in the end (goshdarn mages), but Florymonde has secured his place as one of the greatest of all-time.) Sir Milkisgood, Level 7 - The Roaming Knight (I do like milk myself, but I didn't know that Marble Kingdoms milk gave you superpowers. Milkisgood was the standout marble of Part 1, defending his village for as long as he could before roaming the map and raising hell wherever he went. Unfortunately, his death is the main reason why Part 1's cliffhanger wound up backfiring. You don't show us a marble charging into a castle by himself and unleashing chaos before stopping it midway only to have him die when we pick up where we left off. If his death had been shown at the end of Part 1, it would've been a fair conclusion to go out on, leaving us wondering if anyone else is going to fill that void. Forgive me for being critical of Lost Marbles for that decision, but I only hope that it'll be handled better the next time we get a multi-part episode.) Kingsguards Verbole and Shiloh, Levels 5 and 4 (This was one of the most tragic narratives of the whole episode. Verbloe and Shiloh, brothers in arms who couldn't protect their king, forced to roam the land to survive, and then ripped apart when Verbole was converted by Florymonde's band of misfits. Verbole would be sacrificed during one of Florymonde's sieges, while Shiloh would be hounded by bandits before getting put down by a reborn berserker. This is why we love this series, the organic narratives that come from the unscripted chaos are why we keep coming back for more.) Monk Nell, Level 4 (During Florymonde's rampage throughout the countryside, he would come across a religiously charged individual by the name of Nell. Finding his preaching surprisingly convincing and thinking that he could be of great use, the legendary hammerman enlisted the monk to aid in his campaign, and this decision would pay off. Nell would convert multiple opponents to Florymonde's cause, including the kingless kingsguard Verbole and the Bandit Captain Doodleting. These converts would play a big role in Blue Kingdom's near-comeback. Alas, Nell would be executed for his heresy along with the rest of the Blue warriors.) His Majesty Gunner Sexton VIII, Level 4 (Gunner Sexton VIII was once a mighty king, but he saw his kingdom crumble at the hands of a Yellow army and decided to join them rather than let them have his head. Roaming the lands alongside his new legion, he would prove himself a fierce warrior in his own right. After losing most of his contingent over the course of a grueling campaign, Gunner Sexton VIII would become the first royal trophy of Florymonde's rampage.) Kingsguard TheDragonWarden, Level 4 (Technically not the most accomplished marble, but he will go down in history for his most valuable kill. For it would be by DragonWarden's poleaxe that the legendary Milkisgood would fall in battle at Cyan's castle. Unfortunately, he and his kingdom would become another victim of Florymonde's might.)

...And by the end there were no kingdoms left. Only ashes and ruins of great kingdoms that destroyed each other in a devastating war. And thousands of dead marbles. Strewn across the endless marble fields. And оnly two red villages miraculously remained not destroyed. The survivors who were left with one task: *To survive the drought...*

In Milkisgood's time, Florimonda was a nobody. He was hiding from the great Milk. But when Milk fell, Flor decided to take his place, and essentially fulfilled his dream of destroying the kingdoms (After all, the village of Milka was attacked by kingdoms, so most likely he became a fierce anarchist), and after that he surpassed Milka himself. But still, this story, unlike all the others, shows that in war there are no winners... Milk was unable to avenge his murdered family, friends and destroyed village. He fell like the others. Flor was able to kill the Queen of the Reds, but was unable to save his own homeland and fell to the archers, although he could not essentially be defeated. Shiloh and King Sexton were unable to maintain their kingdom even within the same village, but they were able to hold out with dignity.

such a tragic story of the blue cleric, he truly believes that the best way for all the scattered king-less marbles to stand up to the red king is to unit under one banner. so Flory lets him set p in a town and the cleric is visited by many other marbles but none can let go of their pride to ban together, instead they squabble and fight among themselves over past wrongs and slowly whittle each other down while the red army collects. and no matter how hard the blue cleric pleads no one will listen. and in the end he is killed by the red army he had warned all the others of.

Proposal for some leveling abilities for units without them: 1) King "divine presence": at level 3 the kings have an ability which displays a random holy symbol symbolizing kings or gods of the ancient world which briefly stops the motion and spin of nearby enemies as they are forced to kneel. 2) Captain "Lead from the front!": The captain, like many heroic generals of the past, will rush forward on their own and attack a single opponent. If they succeed in killing that opponent in a small interval of time, the captain will get something similar to the knight's personal health shield that decays rapidly while also buffing the moral and spin speed of allies when they next shout "FORWARD." 3) Farmer which has two changes 3a) "Lay of the land" Since farmers are too weak to actually gain xp on their own, during combat, if one of their allies gets a kill, they will also gain the same amount of experience for that kill so it becomes a bit of an escort quest for the party they join. 3b) "FOR KING AND COUNTRY" no single duelist is more feared in the ancient world as a farmer who is defending his home. Consequently, when the farmer reaches level three, they get a huge buff to their stats and begin tactically jabbing their weaponized farm tools at openings of enemy marbles. They should be almost as deadly as the king's guard halberdiers and a real reward for escorting one to level 3

To be honest I was expecting this to happen given at some point, actually much much sooner than this. His only weaknesses have always been his lack of defense against ranged attacks coupled with HP that were high, but not Pretox level of high... this might just be a wrong impression, but I feel like level 7 Pretox would have more HP than level 9 Florymonde. Perhaps I'm wrong and Pretox actually had lower hp, but was just harder to approach/had higher defense values. What I'm sure of, is that high level Archers and escpecially Mages scale much much better than any other units making them the strongest units in the world once their level is high enough.

@@marcohueber5130 as I understand it, health growth is non-linear, that is, the higher you are in terms of level, the smaller the percentage increase. When you increase conditionally from the 2nd to the 3rd, you have almost complete hp, and when you increase from the 9th to the 10th, much less. But you need to ask the developer for this. Moreover, at higher levels, increases are much less common, more murders are needed.

It used to have it in MK21, since Pretox won MK20 and was hailed as the *True King of the Gray Faction* -- should Milkisgood win MK23 (at which tragically he failed very early on), maybe we would see another Castle Gray like in MK21. I believe Castle Gray is spawned in the middle, whenever Gray Faction wins a previous game like Pretox in MK20.

Spoiler alert. Milksgood rose very high for Gray and died in battle as a hero F. Well, as a result, the red army, assembled from many branches of the armed forces and having first-class magicians, was able to win, but what did this victory give, half of the villages disappeared from the world map, the king is dead, and now they will rule the wastelands.

The epic of Florymode(I think he is the highest level marble? maybe not behind pretox) also I got spoiled as to his ending so I'm including that in the saga) Florymode and his family dealt in the arcane magic of old, the occult. Florymonde saw firsthand the magic of mages, specifically, that of the healers and fortune tellers. Florymode was forbidden to actually have his fortune read because his family feared for his fate to be horrid when it was foretold but one day as Florymonde's father was being called to the war that was raging on, even though he could barley walk, thus teaching Florymonde the cruelty of war, the cruelty of the kings, including his own, his father decided as a parting gift to give Florymonde a fortunate, a small one that couldn't do much harm to the boy. But fate had other plans, as the boy had to witness his father getting possessed by the spirits and scream at him,"Oh boy, you are fated to die at the hands of a level three mage. How you will die, when you will die. You will decide." Florymonde knew that it took a lot of effort for a mage to level up even once but still that prophecy started to affect him. No longer wishing to know of the mage's way, since he did not want to be the very class that would kill him, he looked at how the occult affected other ways of life. He studied continuously out of the warrior spirits, even spirits of the weather and of the land. But it was through this study that he found something that eventually decided his career path: "It is said that when a warrior spirit bonds with. hammerman...," he read," it gains a sort of presence that is physical and if nurtured enough can do damage in the real world by itself, leaving waste in its wake as if through a certain radius that everyone in that radius had their life force taken away." This piqued his interest, and eventually he decided to train as a hammerman because of it, seeking to see if he could generate this to happen for hi own sight, decideing that before he died that he would study this phenomenon throughly and leave it for future generations to know about, dedicating his life and his death to it. He was first sent as a humble hammerman with a group of 34 people, and while most were quivering his excitement and babbling how they would become the next big hero, Florymonde told his fellow companions the true sciences of leveling up, warrior spirits, and even his own experiment. He quickly became a forefront member of them in a couple of days, telling them the systems of the world by the fire while his teammates trained. However it was not long until their first fight drew near, it was the bandit captain Apharatus, and while Florymonde knew that killing him would get himself a level and that he wouldn't die to his man, he still didn't feel like putting in the work this early. However fate was not done toying with Florymonde. As the battle began, he sluggishly followed the rest of his brothers-in-arms to where the giant was, but eventually the giant left the area to fight further up the battlefield but, Florymonde still tagging along somewhat with zeal went along to fight him, and the was where a horror was awaiting him.The giant has leveled up and it with one blow, killed two of his hammerman allies. The he watched in anguish but with now way of stopping it as the behemoth approached him and swung the dagger it had gotten and the axe so that it would cause almost any soldier's death. But Florymonde was not fated to die today, so he lived by the skin of his teeth. Despite being supposed to only fear death at the hands of a mage, this unsettled him as now he felt like he knew death ,right then an there, He was terrified was what was to come next...He didn't know if he could face....this.He dreaded what would come next if he even took a step.Despite that, he took a single step, and it pained him so much. However the giant was still roaming around killing his men. Funny how thought the men where his now despite only knowing them for a couple of days. But he saw an oppurtunity in the giant's low health. He stealthily went to the giant without it noticing his position. And with one swoop, knocked his hammer into the giant's battered ribs.They shattered, and as he hypothesized he got level 1 despite only having one kill. The soldiers, his friends, rushed him in celebration and then a mystic light showcasing four choices for having slain the ones who hated civilization came. The soldiers looked up to him, for him to make the call , the choice. And in the end, he knew the most broken of them all, the most dangerous. His act of mentoring all of his men in how to avoid taking damage with stealthy footwork proved to be useful as they only took one casualty taking the village. However things were about to take a turn for the worse when his merry band of troops caught the ire of Milkisgood who wanted to sink a kingdom and so set attack on his teroops killing all of but three and then attacking the village that Florymonde had set up. However Florymonde decided that with some stealth they could catch the level 7 knight off guard, and so anticipating the knights movements including that of attacking his village caught him stuck in a fence unable to attack of move. This was their opportunity to strike. And yet...something felt off. Somehow despite the stars aligning with his plans and his opponent being powerless, he still felt scared. It was like when he was on the verge of death a year ago still able to survive, knowing he'd live to see another day but so scared to take another step for fear he might just drop dead. He felt the same terror when he first faced the knight too, an aura the dominates, controls. So he was surprised when he heard the knight call out,"Please. I beg you. I beg you....I beg you..I beg you...spare me..I beg you." with an expression that showed total fear, eyes darting between the three members that had him. Somehow a single tear coming out his eye, faring death, fearing the end. This got Florymonde to straighten up and say," Why should we spare you and let you have a death in the glory of battle when you can be killed like cattle right now." "Enough with the formal talk.Pls.....Please spare me....I-I can b-be of service." "Service" "....Yea-yeah I won't att-tack yo-you anymore. I'll only attack other nations." He started speaking clearly again."I''ll even go for the capital say of like cyan, a weak nation. And I'll make sure that you have one less kingdom to worry about." His impish spirit whispered in his ear saying,"I know you really only care about gathering new information about your phenomenon and also you cold gain a lot of levels fro killing this guy. But look at him man I pity the guy." His soldiers were also nodding their head clearly liking what Milkisgood was putting down. That and finally the fear of that aura..it was overloading his ability to think properly. And so he sounded the retreat.. and Milkisgood clasped his hand whispering his ear,"Thank you.Th-thank you.There should be more people like you in this world." And so it was that his troops left Milkisgood to go on his own tale with Florymonde and Milkisgood becoming close friends messagings each other every day,telling of their tales on the road.They messaged about.a lot of things like when Florymonde showed Milkisgood his paper on the phenomenon of hammerman. Milkisgood took that paper and gave it to every kingdom he could find so that his friend would be a well known scientist. Florymonde told his friend how far he was from leveling up. They talked about their every day , with only a 3 day delay between them,. Finally the also talked about their talks about their plans in the future, with Milkisgood being disappointed that Florymonde had no plans while Florymonde was amazed about all the futures that Milkisgood planned. So when it turned out that captain ev paws, the only other significant blue force was leveled to bodies and armor by the yellow forces of gunner sexton, he first told his newfound buddy bout the loss but then straightened himself. Over the fire he told his friends of his crazy plan to destroy the yellow forces the yellow forces outnumbering his forces more than 3 to 1, telling them how they would take revenge. And so it was that Florymonde would do an ambush that would send him into the public view of the yellow forces as while lost both of his fiends he clearly was overwhelming the yellow forces, as a tank that they could not kill. He used his signature stealthy steps to take the lives of a third of their forces while also being too sturdy for them total down easily.Evenutally though after seeing his friends die he decided he shouldn't risk his own life on a revenge quest, to which Milkisgood teased him about for the upcoming weeks, telling him that he planned to attack the cyan kingdom very soon, which concerned Florymonde but being confident in his friend, he didn't object to it. The upcoming weeks had a lot of back and forth with the showdown of the cyan kingdom and Milisgood looming in the distance which he alone knew about. Yellow enraged that he attacked the village of the hammerman, decided to target his forces, taking the village fo the south and killing half of an entirely different blue force with the last person surviving a gigantic amount of time vs the yellow hounds dancing back and forth between them while allowing himself to heal up with the regenerative actor from a year back and eventually escaping form being a meal. However this campaign against the blue forces distracted yellow from the green attack that was coming with Florymonde personally seeing to it that if the green forces failed he would come on in and finish the job, but the green forces did inevitably win the fight, taking a huge attacker off Florymonde, which was nice and good news ,as was the fact that Milkisgood was planning for his fight to be in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later,Milkisgood went into that cyan castle. 3 days after that event, Florymonde got the news. He was grieving for a straight week for his friend, refusing to do much but lay around. Aisokar noticed this and said,"Cmon he wouldn't have wanted this, cmon let's experiment a bit more, he would've wanted you to do that, to live your life." He blankly nodded, rising o test some of the new parameters of the phenomenon. He had figured out a lot for the phenomenon. It only worked when his hammer hit something so far, based on what he knew, and it depended on the the streets of the hammer's strike with it directly proportional to it. It also affected inanimate things lightly but it mainly worked on living things. The direction of the the hammer strike did affect the direction of Aisokar's strikes too, though he didn't know how so yet. In summary, he basically figured out all the parameters for the strength of the strikes of Aisokar ,where the strikes would be, and what would be affected by the strikes. Te only thing he didn't know was if the mana of the spirit affected the strikes, though he hypothesized it did.However it was not truly the one that he read in the book, only a cheap knockoff version of it.He knew that his old self and Milkisgood would want him to go and fight for the knowledge of whether that phenomenon existed in full. And so he went on and decided to give his all to leveling up but also to fufill the dreams of his old friend- the dream of making all the kingdoms gone so that the factions without a castle towering above the land could live in peace.

In the next battle he realized that he just needed to kill one berserker to gain LEVEL 2. So going in with that mindset he let his men do the most of the work, catching one of the enemy off guard while moving covertly and killed him with one swing, gaining him level 2. He also, while not noticing it but also expecting it due to his many studies, got a warrior spirit to come to him: "Greeting, warrior. It's nice to meet you. My name is Aisokar, which means "Death unseen". So...uh what is your name and deal."Florymonde didn't really notice the difference that was the warrior spirit as he got a energy surge, which he expected but still loved breathing in. "Um,hello! I'm out here giving you the blessing which is me, people turn into true heroes when spirits like me descend, can you at least give a response, man?" "Oh, you're finally here, I've been expecting you.Name's Florymonde." "FINALLY-wait you were expecting me?" "Yes....I study the occult. Magic, spirits and all that, so uh I knew. you were going to come after I killed a berserker, which you know I just did." "Huh...well what do you want to do now that you got me." "Well-" "Is it fight for my nation like literally everyone else." "No, actually.You and I are going to see if I get to see you do things in the physical world once I level up high enough. A little experiment if you will" "Seems interesting enough... while I usually decide to unbind with my host since they are boring you seem interesting so I'll stick around" Florymonde just nodded in content, his early days as a conqueror and expert were soon to be replaced with the role a confused experimenter. A couple of days later a messenger came to his forces his legs barely able to keep him , clearly exhausted run-in form something, rolled out a scroll and read him the message:the king is dead.This one first led him in shock and frustration as it would most people, but then he was bewildered as he thought of the time that he came up to the king's castle the other day to give him troops to defense the castle only for the king to deny needing aid through a messenger.Aisokar remarked that he would have barley any room to experiment to which he blankly nodded.He told the messenger to go and live in one of the villages covertly to which the messenger agreed to. Then he told his men that he was planning to make one of the remaining blue soldiers a hero that could raze down a kingdom without a second thought and those that choose to give their all I the task, while having ot see their bothers die, will be greatly rewarded to which his blue comrades jeered their agreement to.Quietly, he did tell his spirit that he planned to just experiment with her instead of trying to win the war. So with this motive, it seemed benevolent that Florymonde led his troops to a army double their size, almost a guaranteed death for most of them, but the few he told his soldiers that would live could become heroes. When the green line approached he made a couple of knights act as barrier while he was about to test if the spirit could interact w with soldiers at level 2. And so he swung his hammer, and to his surprise soldiers that weren't even supposed to be hit by the attack took huge damage just from being near the swing. Aisokar smiled as the realization dawned on him that the books that he studied did tell the truth about a hammerman's spirit.He rode this initial advantage to avicotry easily enough by repeatedly swinging and healing on the right side while his troops fought on the left side and inevitably when it was effectively a solo between him and a squad of knights, he had the one knight that didn't abandon him to use Florymonde's movements as a distracting presence to allow him to sneak behind the enemy's line of sight and stab them when. they weren't expecting it, and while this strategy worked he knew that he only really needed to kill one more knight to level up after killing most of the initial line of green forces and so he used his own knight as a decoy so that he could sneak up to one of the knights and smash his head in, gaining him level 3, to which his spirit commented,"Look I know you expect this and all but I do want to you to show some appreciation for the gift I'm about to give you." and then gave him a helmet made of wood. Florymonde, appreciating the spirit, said," I am lucky to have you with o divine one, aren't I" "The spirit's eyes widened in surprised then softened."You're definitely lucky ,pal."

@@TrueWolves i'm pretty sure it is a bug because any unit should receive a name once they've leveled up twice its probably because LM tried to fix a bug from before where if you summoned a level 2 mage as a bandit reward than it would take ages to level up to level 3 due to having negative experience also with the level 3 mage at the end if you saw he actually skipped levels 1 and 2 and went straight to level 3 and then likely due to weird scaling from the bug didn't level up to level 4 even though it dealt the killing blow to florymonde and although how much damage the marble dealt is also important some of the mages did actually deal the majority of the damage themselves and then receive next to no xp when they killed a unit

So Florymonde came from being terrified from a guy stuck on a fence to becoming stronger than him and destroying 3 cities by himself. How crazy surprises awaited us in the fence wars. By the way, also impressive that red achieved the win without insanely overpowered heroes, goes to show teamwork truly does the dream work. As a suggestion, you probably should make some adjustments to accelerate the late game. Maybe for every king level that kingdom could have another marble in the Muster menu ( as it's still a very rare event) or maybe when a kingdom reaches set collective kill count IDK.

I like that red at the end just knew they couldn't fight Blue team all out. So they proceeded to pick off the team one by one. First the Monk now cleric, then they got rid of hellstorm, then they got rid of the big man leaving only Florry and one soldier. The one soldier tried to fight but we'll just outmatched. And then we look at it like a original world of Warcraft raid on Florry. The berserker and knights in the front the archer in the back hit him twice the mage throwing in his power period everything was needed to take down this raid boss. I wonder who would win Pretox or Florry? Maybe we should have a bracketed tournament of all past heroes
