Familiar with so e of these spots. Just did Rainey Valley Trail from Marble Gap to Rainey Lake in Oct and it was one of the most challenging wilderness experiences I've had.

Looking to get into the marbles for the first time next year on a similar loop. Great video of the area! I'm guessing you went off trail from deep to buckhorn lake? How was that climb?

Awesome, and thanks! Yes, went XC to the lakes south of Deep and then traversed to Upper Wright Lake. It's been a while but I don't remember anything being too difficult....seemed pretty straightforward.

Exactly. The Marbles don't hold snow through the summer.
