Oh man, Greg didn't do justice to how insane that last race was. The Purple Rockets HAD to get first and hope that they beat the Chocolatiers by at least 6 points. Not only do they win, but the Chocolatiers were INCHES away from a 3rd place finish which would have still eliminated the Rockets. Instead, they briefly bounce off the wooden side block at the very ending, allowing the Oceanics to zoom past them and beat them by literal millimeters, sending them home and the Rockets on to the final stage. Unbelievable final race of this set.

The most pivotal moment of this entire Survival Race. 12:33 Chocolatiers were a split second ahead, going the same speed as the Oceanics and only an inch from the finish line until fate caught up to them and they ran into that tiny wooden triangle.

Would've been a great bet to make. But yeah i agree, they've been one of my favorites already, and i fully expected to say goodbye to them today, i'm genuinely happy about this, haha. Out of my 7 favorites, 2 have survived, so almost half of the final grid consists of favorites, i really would not have expected this 96 races ago, especially with Solar Flares and Team Plasma dropping out so early, and Team Galactic getting stuck halfway again. Indigo Stars did much better than i expected, as did Gliding Glaciers, and Purple Rockets and Oceanics are performing better than i had ever hoped.

Odds on winning the championship based on performance, brought to you be Galactech Calculator: Oceanics 24% It had been a strong consistent run for the Oceanics over the last 3-4 weeks… Constant top 3 finish and always early to secure a spot for the next week… With that strong performance, the captain of the team can be favourites to win the tournament! Bumblebees 22% Swax had been a dark horse throughout the first few weeks of the tournament.Towards the end, the marble seems to have picked up pace and got strategic to secure a contender spot for the survival series. Expected to see Swax easily going through Rd. 97 and 98, given that the last place finish in round 96 is just a strategic move… Team Primary 20% Aryp seems to be doing a good job trailing Swax and Sea to the final week of the series, and has shown good pace at times. However, being less consistent than the two favourites, Aryp has a higher chance to encounter a surprise knockout.Chances are Aryp to yet again trail Sea and Swax to the penultimate round, only if Aryp can keep consistent. Mellow Yellow 17% Ahh yes I nearly forgot Yellah is still in here. Yellah had been fairly consistent as it isn’t always mentioned in the battle up front nor the battle for last… It still has a good chance of winning the championship, but a motivation from the team will most likely be needed. Purple Rockets 17% Yet another clutch means Saucer, against all odds, had slipped into top 5 and the final week of the tournament. It is well and truly a surprise factor in the remaining 5. A third surprise isn’t impossible, but we’ll need to see how Saucer copes with the pressure as it’s probably the marble with least chance, yet anything can happen… Can’t wait for the final week!!! Chocolatiers... Man, I was not expecting that. Bonbon raced well every race yet they barely missed the podium every time. Missing out on the single elimination rounds is tough, but I am extremely proud of my team for exceeding expectations. Bonbon proved themself to be an excellent racer, and despite getting eliminated this event, we never placed below 4th! This series has been the most exciting out of anything I've seen on KZbin. I felt compelled to watch every race every day, no matter if my team was at risk of elimination or not. I will gladly watch the last 4 races even though the team I was rooting for from the start is now out. I am now on team PURPLE ROCKETS!!! Despite landing the knockout blow on Bonbon, Saucer has done a fantastic job and is an extremely wild competitor. Through this, they, along with the rest of the Purple Rockets have won my approval. GO PURPLE ROCKETS!!!

Already being "safe", being hit back by an obstacle, or just the daily grind of competition, did not stop Sea from putting in another great performance. The Oceanics seem to be in the thick of things no matter what is going on. It was great to Sea another strong race from the Oceanics as they rode atop the tidal wave for the top spot on the podium. Great job by Sea and the Oceanics. Ride the wave baby, ride the wave......... 🌊 🔵

I've been a bit of a silent viewer for these past few races, but well done to... Yellah!!! So proud of you - I've said it before and I'll say it again, I would've just been happy with a top-half finish. But look at how far he's gone! Top 5!! I'm ecstatic, honestly. #KeepItMellow! Sorry to see Choc go, but hey, sixth place is pretty freaking amazing. With a silver in the Showdown, and now this, I'm hoping the Chocolatiers will build on these victories in the future. But wow, Saucer! That clutch was amazing - MYL tier! XD I seriously can't believe there's only four races left. I'm going to miss this series! Hopefully it'll back in the future.
