@@roy_mezz-awake2470 as a speeders supporter I sadly agree with you, tbh it all comes down to the tracks in each season if we're looking at it from an 'out of universe' perspective, the speeders do so much better on tracks with few corners and dominate on long straights cuz their marbles are so fast. This seasons tracks have been rlly twisty and turny unlike in season one. But fortunately short circuit is the perfect place for the speeders to show how they are the fastest and greatest marbles there is

@@Kieran66 Honestly I totally agree. Speeders are… speedy. Straightaways, speed boosts and ramps are so useful for their racing because such properties valorise their insane speed. They’ve done it since 2016. Speed is key. This track should give them another great run like last season, and the qualifying doesn’t prove otherwise.

It looks like every marble but one (Momo) took the same side of the helix, which led to them all taking the outside track on the following turn. I wondered if that would change during the trial for pole, when marbles bumping against each other could lead to other lines being taken, but that only seems to have happened once. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the race Sunday, but for now, it looks like the helix and second split simply narrow the course making position changes less likely.

What a painfully slow course this is. Red eye made a decent burst in the third lap of the time trial to go from 8th to 6th on the pole. The exit from the helix to the last turn seems to be the real trick on this track, in that somehow getting to the inside seems to make the home stretch run faster. Historically, RedEye has performed well on slow tracks, but this not only slow but a short track, with few places to blast by the others. Come om Red Eye...CCE needs a great performance from you in order to go into the final few races, and bring home another Marbula One victory!!

I'll admit the low starting position for Q2 had me worried. But it looks like it was (at least mostly) a plan to figure the best overtakes. Good idea, considering the chaos of the last race and how much Red Eye had to really fight for spots. Might as well learn the best spots now. I think I even saw one in the helix, which is always an impressive feat!

I think the biggest challenge will be those U turns as we saw several attempts challenging his position there, him getting challenged twice means he's slower than some coming out of those turns. Here's hoping he does well at race start to get that much needed distance. 🥂
