I was always thought that NJT was capable of it, especially the dual modes.

WMRRVA ALP-46As and ALP-45DPs (in electric mode) can go 125mph, but I’m not sure if they reach it in service.

Something innercompatibility. They mix Mach their equipment a lot. Even running GP39s and chargers together.

SEPTA Silverliner frequently hit 100 mph, because, since they are EMUs, they accelerate far faster than MARC's push-pull trains. This means that while MARC's *peak* speed is higher, it is rarely achieved, while SEPTA frequently hits 100 mph. Of course, MARC can't really do this because most of their lines are diesel (yuck) instead of SEPTA's pristine, 100% electric network.

Seems like MARC is just sending the same two trains back and forth, makes sense operationally I suppose. Wish they used the HHP-8's more.

Yes. These are the weekend sets. They only have 4 sets they run on these days. The weekday sets comprise of a few Penn line only sets mixed with sets from the other 2 lines.
