Thanks for putting this together. I love seeing MAF having fun on and off the ice! I'm not sure why everyone is talking about him like they expect him to retire though, like they want him to do so. I want to keep watching him having fun and will not talk about him like he's already declared he's leaving. Has he declared his intention to retire? If not, lets avoid mentioning it so he knows he's welcome for as long as he wants to keep playing. I'm finsing ageism is very strong in discussion about NHL players, but every player is different, and every position. If we really enjoy watching our favorite players on the ice and in the locker rooms, let not tell them we expect them to quit playing because we think they are now too old to do so, let's leave it up to each player to decide.

Martin Brodeur said last week that all goalies are the same nowdays except for Fleury. He said that 10-20 years ago they were a lot of different style of goalies.

Geographically 150 miles here north of Pittsburgh,most us hockey fans here presumably root for the PENS b4 Sabres or Toronto, for yrs Lemieux ,Crosby, Malkin,Barrasso & Fleury jerseys/t's seen daily so naturally ea generation of kids/ fans get on the PENS train, esp after their awesome '09 RED Wings 🏆 Victory, I was exception as I shocked my friends/ inner circle ,I picked Philly my Fav. Team in '83. ANYWAYS - HEARING "FLEURY" & "RETIREMENT" IN THE SAME SENTENCE/ THE THOUGHT IS EXTREMELY DEPRESSING for multiple reasons. I hope he can play as long as MARTY BRODEUR DID !!🤟🏼 & btw I got to see Mcdavid play as an Otter several times. He could move better at 15 than 97% of the 22 yr olds out of NCAA 🏒 hoping to make the draft. This season is super interesting already 💥

I dont think Fleury will retire at the end of this season. I think he will sign a 1-day-contract with the Penguins and THEN he will retire. This guy is a Legend! :D

That sounds like something that should happen. Retiring in the town the legend got his start in. That's how most legends go after they are moved to another team. Ken Griffey Jr. Played his last full season with the Cincinnati Reds but they got a short stint back with the Mariners as did Ichiro, and Mike Cameron, Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton. To you sucker (I mean soccer) fans I got nothing. When they are truly larger than life and great human beings then that's how they should retire.

I wouldn't say any of these are troll moves. But definitely funny. Being a goalie myself I love the guy. He's is probably the best team player I have seen in ages. Always has a smile on his face even when being screwed by Pittsburgh and Vegas when he was benched for goalies that are nowhere near as good as he is. He's still playing, where are they now? Any video on Flower would only be a positive one because of who he is. I can't believe anyone in and around the NHL has anything bad to say about him.
