There was a very short time window when this would have worked - and I think it really could have been something very special had he and TV worked on it in the studio. After the phenomenal success of Electric Warrior that window closed I think 🎸🎸🎸

You're right about the timing-the window for The Children of Rarn Suite was short, but it had the potential to be something unique. If Bolan and Visconti had fully fleshed it out in the studio, it could have been a defining piece of his early work. However, Electric Warrior changed everything. Once Bolan struck gold with that album, his sound became much more focused on glam rock swagger, and the more whimsical, fantasy-driven elements of The Children of Rarn just didn’t fit the new direction. The success of Electric Warrior shifted the trajectory completely, closing the door on that earlier concept-but it remains a fascinating "what if" in his career.

@@ATMFC Agree totally - “There Was A Time” being the final goodbye to his early career and “Raw Ramp” a sort of “well hello there - here we are now” and “Electric Boogie” a watch me go sort of thing - I enjoyed / still enjoy it all 🎸🎸🎸
