Still more tame than the looks I get from my co-workers. I drive a normal Civic, so great gas mileage with 87 grade. Most of my co-workers are big ole gas guzzling truck guys that use them just to commute back and forth to work. I live nine miles away from work and really don't go out much, so I am usually three weeks between fill ups. Smug face engaged.

Couple things on that Ram. That fuel cap is correct. This is because there is a baffle inside the fill tube that prevents fuel from flowing out, while also allowing fumes to escape. The reason its so dirty (the white stuff) in the fuel door, that white is crystalized DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) that dried. Its made from urine basically. NASTY stuff DO NOT get that DEF on you if at all possible!!!!!! LOVE the video. Thanks Mark for the spoiler on the next Civic mod (aside from the newly textured wheel).

Damon, you don't need to keep that red cover on the opening. It's just something from new that is a trigger from factory to make sure you put diesel in. If you ever put gas in you will blow the truck up. The DEF fluid is just pronounced by each letter D-E-F. The best way to combat diesel smell on your hands is keep a set of leather work gloves in your door to fuel up.

I feel your pain I bought a new set of wheels and 2 weeks after being on the car I was driving on a light traffic road. I was going 80km and going around a right hand corner and all of a sudden there was a pothole about as round as a 18” wheel. I couldn’t avoid it and after hitting it with both left side tires it put me into a spin and luckily no one was coming the other way and I stopped on the other side of the road after 1 1/2 spins. After I got out the front tire was flat so I put my spare on thankfully I brought 5 wheels so it was the same as the others. What I didn’t realise was on the inside of the rims front and back had a huge bump that was only just holding onto the tire and because I was angry I was going pretty fast and if it had of let air out where the damage was it wouldn’t have been a easy way out of having a massive accident and thank god it didn’t happen. Damon my eldest daughter is 21 march 2024 I remember laughing at my relatives saying how old they were and now I’m the one that’s old

Noooo! Feel for ya Mark. I got my first rash on my BBS Motorsports. I park on a Culter sac and it's like parallel parking to get it close to the curb. Got to close. I've had for 3 yrs with no taps. Justified me to purchase overpriced BBS rim protectors. Can barely see rashes now. Once you get enough defects it doesn't hurt as much.

Hi Damon, idk if you'll read this. Diesel has gone up because it's used to deliver all the food, gas, products and even diesel itself. They are price gouging companies hard, and it's tougher and tougher every month to be in transport.

Sounds like Marc needs a short throw shifter. I had one on my 2nd gen Eclipse and now I have one on my C7 Corvette. The Corvette always had an iffy 2nd gear and if you didn't push it down hard into gear it would sometimes pop out. I installed a MGW shifter and it's so much more precise and easier to drive, plus it fixed the 2nd gear issue. It's a fun install since you have to rip the center console apart to install it.

The red cap on the fuel filler for the Ram dually isn't factory. It's actually a capless system, I've never had fuel leak out of the filler neck. If I lost the red cap I wouldn't blink and eye haha.

Kids are the best, 21 yrs is a mile stone, your kids are lucky that you can give them all you do. I lost a son at 24 yrs old, and it’s the worst thing a parent can ever have happen, enjoy every second you can with your kids, obviously I hope you never have to deal with what I did. The white stuff around the gas cap area is from the DEF, if it spills and dries up it turns white like that. Also you probably know this but don’t mix Diesel with DEF or the other way around because it will cost you and after even repairs it will never be the same again.

The gas tank it’s not dirty the white staff it’s from the DEF Fluid if you spill it turns white like crystals immediately. So for future reference if it spills just wash it off with water and it all goes away :)
