Great interview with one of Cleveland, OH's very own. Grew up listening to LeVert on 93.1 WZAK in Cleveland. Didn't know he produced some other hits for some other great artists as well.

I've been a Supporter and Big Fan of LeVert Since Day 1 . Them Gentlemen had True Showmanship on Stage and All of Them Could Truly Sing and Harmonize. The Scene in New Jack City says it all . Mark was the Soft Spoken 1 but when he opened his Mouth he Clowned ! Miss Them tremendously .

Actually New Edition debut in 1982. Ready For The World were out in 1984. It was quite a few groups out around the same time or a little before Levert

I never perceived them and NE to be in the same lane, as they were a bit older and had an older sound. NE was singing bubblegum pop until '86. Levert came out sounding like 40 year old men at 18.

Great guy so underrated he did a lot of tracks for Levert and others , because he was quiet and stayed behind the scenes all the credit went to Gerald who was great as well, much love to one of my favorite singers, producers!!!

I literally remember when they first dropped -- and I mean the "I Get Hot" LP, not the Bloodline one -- and loved that "Dancing With You" track with the doo wop feel to it at the end. If you had told me growing up that both Gerald and Sean would be gone by the time they were 40, I wouldn't have believed it.

Met Marc back in the early 2000’s in Big Pat’s studio in VA Beach! I produced for Gerald and Sean and had met Errbody else but Marc! When we did meet, I told it was complete because I heard so much about him and man smoked a couple and listened to some tunes!!!! Bro is a real one! RIP to G and Sean my music mentors!!!
