Marc has absolutely demolished the other GP23s, in his first year on a Ducati. He has more points than the next 2 GP23 riders combined, one of which finished 3rd in the championship last year, 138 points behind Bagnaia, and the performance of the bikes back then were much closer between the GP22 and GP23. So the fact that Marc is this close this year with all the disadvantages he has, is incredible. Wait till he gets equal machinery next year, with a years experience on the Ducati behind him, he'll dominate easily. I cannot wait to see it! No more being held back by old machinery, or downgrades such as the recent flywheel downgrade on his bike. He'll have the full backing of Ducati, who will be more than happy to see him win over and over. I'm not sure Bagnaia will be able to deal with the consistency of Marc, and he'll be pushed harder than ever. Marc makes great riders look ordinary as team mates.

"UUndoubtelly one of the greatest riders of all time" That became apparent right back in his first season oin MotoGP. I had never seen anybody so consistently so close to the edge, his bike control that season was from another planet. I've been watching MotoGP since the days of Spencer and Lawson, and I have never seen anything like it, watching him actually frightened me. It felt like only a matter of time before had a big, big off. Over the coming years, we learned that riding at that level is just what Marquez does. Of course, he did eventually have that big, big off. I thought that might slow him down, make him more cautious, but even if it has, he's still faster than anybody else on equal machinery.

Pecco isn't the strongest teammate of Marc, it was Lorenzo. 5 time world champion. Everyone predicted it will be epic in 2019 when they became teammates, we know how one sided that turned out to be. Agreed that, it was Lorenzo who had to adapt that time to a new team but Marc is no Lorenzo as he has already proven this year, he can adapt faster. I honestly don't think it is going to be a Senna Prost situation next year. Yes, Pecco is a very good rider but he isn't a talent like Marc. No GP23 rider has beaten Marc in a race this year, and these are the riders who have beaten Pecco last year. Their level seems to be quite similar, whereas Marc is on a entirely different level. I am sorry but if Pecco must ride any of the last 3 years Hondas, he will not beat Mir on any of that Hondas. 3. Again I am sorry, but if Pecco rides any of the last 3 years Yamahas he will not beat Fabio or Rinse on the same Yamaha. 4. Then I do not down grade Jack Miller as person - but racing wise Brad Binder beat him hands down the past 3 years and beat him by a mile. 5. Alex Marquez DOES NOT deserve a ride in the Moto GP line up. 6. Marc Marquez only weak point - Development - he can not develop a racing bike with out a good engineer ( As was Rossi when he was with Jeremy Burgess and Doohan who only had Jeremy Burgess - Never under appreciate what the value was of Burgess and Hernandez ) Moto GP and Super Bike racing = 3 roles : the Rider the Bike the Engineer. No doubt Marc performed miracles on the GP23, but once it became clear that the GP24 is considerably better than the GP23, I have since resided to waiting and looking ahead to the 2025 season when Marc will be able to get on the same factory machine.
