Marc Reacts to "Power Rangers In Space, Part 2 - History Of Power Rangers"

In continuing the 'Marc's Farewell to KZbin' tour, I "power" through a series of videos reacting to the webseries "The History of Power Rangers" by Lewis 'Linkara' Lovhaug. Today, wouldn't you know it, we finally get to the good stuff here with Power Rangers In Space. What was intended to be the final season (at that point) ended up being one of the most beloved seasons in the show's history, and I've got a front-row seat to the end of the Zordon era.

KZbin, like other websites, collects personal data on its users.
The Child Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) has made it illegal to collect personal data on children younger than 13 years old, and rather than fix this very algorithm, KZbin is basically threatening to place the blame on content creators whose work would be considered "appealing" to children.
Until this rule is altered to be less accusatory towards content creators whose content should not apply to said act passed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), this disclaimer will remain for the time being.

I wish I saw these reactions sooner because I love providing fun facts. For In Space, I should point out that this was the first season where they decided to go with a darker storyline, which is obvious from the get go. It’s also the first to have a sibling as one of the main villains, Karone is also special for a different reason but that’s a spoiler. Bringing in the comic timeline into this, while it’s a split timeline, there’s nothing contradicting that the Psycho Rangers weren’t created with the dead bodies of people that Astronema killed. One special Psycho Ranger in particular Psycho Green, real name being Trek, was previously the Supersonic Green Ranger from planet Xybria that betrayed his team to Dark Spector, the villain from the Turbo movie. Xybria is also the home planet of a later green ranger, Trip from Time Force. As for Sentai comparisons, it’s counterpart Megaranger was *not* a space series, rather it was a technology based series. The foot soldiers used in In Space are also Power Rangers original, as Megaranger had a different kind of foot soldier to fight that had a purple color scheme. In Space and Megaranger both were a bit unusual with their cast as well. In Space had a mainly adult cast which was unusual for PR at the time while Megaranger had a cast of high schoolers which is unusual for SS. I know they were meant to be teens but they’re obviously an adult cast and the next season does away with the whole teen requirement altogether so it’s a moot point. I won’t dwell on the previous ones besides state the incredibly different premise. For those seasons we have warriors from prehistoric times rising from frozen sleep to fight a witch getting revenge for her murdered son, a group of people with bloodline to an ancient Chinese tribe fighting a reborn demon tribe, the white ranger being a nine year old that’s half demon, a group of military operatives fighting a mechanized army with super weapons from ancient civilizations, the black one being physically 14 but actually being a great hero from the ancient supercontinent of Pangaea, and a team of racers chosen by the stars to use the power of cars fighting for traffic safety... that season was meant to be a comedy.

My guess with the ninja turtles is that they did go and help and were defeated off screen or they pretty much saw the invasion and realised that they would be out numbered

Also with the other rangers. Adam's powers weren't working properly and justin was probably hiding with his dad

My initial goal is to go with all the seasons written by Judd Lynn (Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force), MAYBE Wild Force, and the most recent seasons that I actually have seen (Dino/Cosmic Fury). We’ll see if I’m feeling up for any other ones once I get those done.
