The difference between something inspired and uninspired is made clear in this performance. He never fears following an idea. This shit is dope af

This is truly great. And I love the fact that it’s done on a nylon string guitar.

the world stood still, and Marc played. And the beginning was the end and the end, was the beginning. But, there was a longing for more.... so, we recorded it, and continued watching it, till our end! :)

This was at IPR. I think at the end of the show he had done like10 different styles. Just beauty all around

For those of you afflicted with negativity and bewilderment. Just listen to this whole show too and then look at what you've written down here again... You'll be shurely tempted to correct your rush pronouncements. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4OXmKeNmJqsfZY

Im trying to understand the beauty behind this, and its just not apparent. It sounds awful

giperez165 For me, it took some time. I actually learned to love playing this type of music before I learned to love listening to it. But please, don't take this as some kind of patronizing "You will get this when you're older" nonsense. You might never enjoy this and that's fine. There's enough music to go around, whatever you might be into. I might not understand the urge to express one's dislike of something in a comment such as yours, but kudos for giving the music a chance.

How the fuck does it sound awful?!?! What guitarists DO you like?
@peplins16 жыл бұрын
Beauty is relative, of course. Ribot is informed by traditions other than pop cultural thought.

If I had to pay for this I'd want my money back. I can do this and I've never played before! Our standards for talent are going down hill.

+TIM WARREN i am not personally a huge fan of marc but about 60 percent of this is pretty conventional technique. also this guy is probably older than you so whatever the standard of talent is, like it or not it hasn't gone downhill. so clearly you are not the most artistic guy if you can't understand the good chunk of this that is fairly conventionally melodic. if you are not an open minded person that is artistically experienced you shouldn't make ignorant comments. i would assume you don't listen to much modern classical or jazz in the first place and just wondered here with no basis. again i personally don't love this but i can appreciate a good portion of it.

You could not do that.

NO. You can't. And you should not. Go back to the shallow water.
