As great as all four of these guys are, Joey Baron is simply beyond human. I cannot imagine any music that he couldn't bring to a higher level. But, again, all these men are incredible musicians. It's awesome to see Patton in this context. It becomes clear that he can use his voice just like free sax players like Albert Ayler or Peter Brotzmann would. This was simply amazing. Thanks for posting!

McLaughlin is garbage. His ears are shot making him choose lousy pickups and thus tone. Not to mention his ego. Which has him as king and the rest of the musicians as subservient s. Which makes for very droll music. He had a few good years and failed to evolve
