Ordinarily I roll my eyes when there's yet another damn cover of Hey Joe, but this is nothing short of amazing - wish I'd have been there to watch this live. This is the only version I've heard that leaves me wanting more Hey Joe!

"Boring" is a construct of one's subjective belief. In order for you to have made a sound judgement, you would have needed to listen to the entire piece. If you did indeed listen to the entire piece and found it boring, that's fine. But it is completely unnecessary to bring such a "all who like this are wrong" attitude to the page. So unless it is your job to criticize peoples performances, I feel like you should not say such antagonistic comments, and simply move on to less boring videos.

I can tell the performance was something not to be missed at any cost. Too bad it was wasted at all cost, because the sound is so F'n Horrid I Couldn't enjoy it or even stay With it. sounds like you used a 1970s compact cassette recorder to capture the moment. I'm sorry it just serves as an insult of sorts to do no justice to some artists' performance who would've otherwise been More than enjoyable. (yah I would've Loved to be able to hear it).

The way you said it was antagonistic. Saying "This IS boring" implies that some said it was NOT boring. To state this fact, you are saying that these folks who say it is not boring are wrong and that you are right. So, you are really not stating your opinion, you are stating a fact. You could reword it to make it be an opinion, but it is not an opinion in this form.

If it's not interesting enough to continue listening to the end, I move on to something more engaging. (Bill Frisell, or Scofield, Medeski, Martin, and Wood). I believe I DID watch this to the end. My comment was not meant to be antagonistic, just my opinion. I have a right to it, without being attacked. It is everyone's prerogative to comment on these videos, and it is not necessary for it to be my job to be entitled to have an opinion, and voice it. I'm a fan of MM&W, just not of this video.
