Marc Riley stands as the only former member of The Fall do to anything interesting at all after leaving the band. I mean, have you heard the disaster that is Brix and the Extricated??

totally agree, Riley seemed like the force behind the Fall, and the only decent thing to come from it. What a diamond John Peel was to bring this to the fore. I miss his show like nothing else

@@FruitierThanThou I used to record John Peel every week. I had dozens of tapes of his show, including one Marc Riley &TC session. I lost the tapes many years ago, but I remember liking Location Bangladesh, and a song about paisley shirts (?) They just don't sound quite as I remembered them.

snap, i didnt record the whole Peel shows except during festive 50 times, but i did tape a ton of sessions by bands like this, and helen and the horns, china crisis, testcard F and other quirky stuff that i would never hear otherwise. how i wish i'd hung onto my tapes and had them all now. this is a brilliant upload, cheers @ Fruitier @@WarrenCromartie2
