My Bloody Valentine - Tremolo E.P. 24.1.25 0612am as if by tragic - i was just thinking about this band. i thought it was Australian... seems it might be irish. might be sat at home bracing itself against the weather.... wot o!!! it had something all it's own, the 80's & 1990's... dunno what it was...probably a fin de siècle to end all fins.... ahahahah.... it didn't really lay the ground for future endeavour, though... i mean, after all the blether about doing it yourself, forgoing yourself of polished turds and generally having some semblance and innate notions of what you, yourself, were all about... standing what you stood for et cetera... ahahaha..... we merely ended up with flying saucer attack. which is no bad thing. but.......that's it. shoe gazing still exists..........................................somewhere. you could perhaps get yerself a band of noise pop together? part chimp kindda got there but didnt invest itself or imbue itself with vast swathes of fret wank 20 minute reverb laden guitar solos - as it's a spagirically power pop band.... essentially.... invariably.... to date.................................................. which it , maybe, should have done, perhaps...(?) invested itself with 20 minute fret work wanking riffs laden in reverb and disruption... an idea for future musical direction!!!? who knows.... music's cool, isnt it?
