About time we started doing something like this, well done Everton
@GediSpock4 жыл бұрын
This was a great film and a vital watch. He’s an unsung hero. The Brands era has changed recruitment. And the now Ancelotti/Brands era will undoubtedly be better again. We do need patience for them to create a whole squad. It is still a squad in transition. But it’s important to see who Brands has brought in so far. So much better than Walsh. When Carlo says “our dream is the same. To bring Everton to the top. In England and in Europe” I haven’t trusted anyone enough to believe it when they say that kind of thing before. But Ancelotti/Brands does seems like a perfect match up. I trust them.

The thing is ? There’s players on high wages that he has to get rid of first before he can start buying. This summer & next summer we should see a far greater Quality of player coming in. You would be mad to think otherwise. Quality man Brands and now a quality Manager. Onwards and upwards that’s what I am seeing from now on . UTFT.

Joe 1995 nothing wrong with recruiting from other PL clubs - Robertson, Gomez, Henderson, Wijdnaldum, Mane show it isn’t always a bad strategy. We also don’t know the full story with Walsh. Did Walsh want Rooney? Unlikely I think. Klaasen? Seems more like a Koeman signing. I think Walsh was more likely involved in Gana, Lookman and the other youth players. I wonder if he had the strength of personality to say no to Kenwright, Koeman & Alardyce? He’d previously been a chief scout and maybe wasn’t cut out to moving into a position from advising to managing.
