As a City supporter I have huge respect for Gerrard and Liverpool as a team at the moment, I like the football they're playing!!! Very disappointing the manner in which we lost the game on the weekend, but was a great game to watch! I am a liverpool fan and to be honest i know fans of most current PL teams and they are all good people, every club has a certain number of people who discredit the rest. Manchester city have great fans who deserve success for their support however, if city continue to take players from their rivals the league will become distorted. This is the best PL season for a long time simply because with management changes the playing field has been almost level. The same thing is happening in la liga for atletico. Next season will be very different!!!

I've just noticed that every time I see some twat commenting on something related to football, it's always a united supporter, and from before this season. As for City stealing from their rivals, that's not true, we only steal from one rival, Arsenal... Haha. But seriously not one of our new players this season came from BPL. Next season will be different, we'll probably get rid of Lescott and Richards, and Barry too... which means we gonna need to buy english players to meet the quota. I reckon we'll go for Luke Shaw, not sure who else. But it's been a fantastic season in terms of competitivity... Will be interesting to see how next season pans out.

It might be strange to say that, coming from Germany, but he has something I miss with German players: personality, edge. This somehow totally got lost with German players. To have an own opinion, to not be afraid to step on peoples toes and so on. Take Philipp Lahm. Great player, great captain, no doubt. But in interviews...he is like a school boy like Zlatan would say. just always the same phrases, no own opinion, nothing to talk about. But, at the same time, it's understandable. Players are advised by staff when giving interviews to conduct in a "professional" manor and to not let emotions get in the way. +Onmysheet I don't support either team but the scoreline at the time of this incident you're referring to was 0-0 and Liverpool still went 0-1 up in the game so it was quite irrelevant, how do you know you'll score the goal that u did get if the first counted? oh yeah you don't. Plus 1 bad decision in mid-season, come on it's no 2009/10 comparison where Chelsea needed 2 illegal goals in 2 narrow wins against ManUtd (plus a load of other decisions) to then only finish above them by 1 point. Plus talking about poor decisions, Gerrard's decision to run towards DembaBa instead of back to his goal after he miscontrolled the ball was more costly than a disallowed goal on boxing day because he literally had the title in his site then with very few games left. After Liverpool narrowly lost away to City&Chelsea it spurred them on to start a run of good results which almost won them the title. But they lost it in the end mainly because of Gerrard's miscontrol in a dangerous area followed by running towards Ba (despite Gerrard being the only Liverpool outfield player that was in a position to stop Ba from getting that 1on1 chance&goal he should've ran backwards after missing the ball instead of towards Ba because he would've caught up to him in time then but these mistakes led to a slip which made it absolutely impossible to get back in time).
