Yesss. As a WW main and the main reason I started WoW back when I joined in MoP. I reallllly love when we get something fun or something new to use! I’ve always loved the class because of their mastery. Never just spamming 11111111 like some classes.

monk is literally melee caster now, u cast fists, u cast spinning crane, u cast crackling lightning, and if we end up playing conduit thats another cast, u cast more than actual ranged casters which is terrible design

Unholy is by far my favorite spec, probably my favorite version of DK of all-time too. Much more simplified and smoother without relying on long CD downtime but does require a bit of ramp and mobs to live long enough to get diseases ramping. One of the few specs that have multiple build variations that actually feel and play unique for different content situations. No other spec really compares when the tank pulls an entire room of trash packs at once (like the big trash room in the raid) If I could change one thing, I really wish we could more away from Wounds and make DnD an aura that drains your health slowly. Still a few outdated mechanics that hold the spec back.

Played whole season as WW monk, felt like I have to play perfectly to get mediocre damage. Tried HDH, FDK, Destro WL - all felt much more easier and I got damage on my 626~ twink similar to my 638 WW monk. Hope next season will be better for WW, else I will only heal/tank

I feel like every ptr since legion people say WW Monks will be OP + fun. Then everyone rerolls to something else 2-3 weeks into the season.

Enhance is my main, it is fun, the builds, everything really, on both hero specs, the synenergy, the multiple build, dang, even with a winfury totemic build it feels awesome, you can even go with a almost fully ranged storm build lol, but I find enhance had this even in the older times, with weapons swaps, etc.

I’m glad to hear you’re potentially getting back into the game. Resto Shamans, to me, are the best healers. As someone who enjoys playing dungeons, healing classes right now stink. Tanks are SPRINTING through dungeons & make it nearly impossible to catch up. Unfortunately, those are the people who make the game less enjoyable.

WW is super fun, but their aoe dmg falls off harder then any other class on more then 6 targets. I can't imagine WW monk being even above mid dmg in the grand scheme (aoe, ST, cleave fights). Destro normally hurts in 4-6 targets, especially when they move a lot, but it seems its gotten better.

I'm hopeful for bear, but outside of a 5-8% magic DR (which is not bad), bear is pretty much exactly where it was in S1. The reason you felt tankier is because Blizzard reduced the amount of casts in the new dungeons (making prot pally interrupts less impactful). Bear against melee mobs feels pretty solid. The biggest buff to bear is sorta unintentional, as reducing the reliance on Aug buffs bear the most. Since their armor buff gave bears the least increase to phy mitigation, and their stat buff gave bears the least increase to avoidance out of all of the tanks, less reliance on Augs is a buff to the relative standing on bears. (sadly its the worst for Brews and DKs who could have used the help) Bear still needs alot of work, and the likelyhood at this point of it getting any of it is pretty low. I keep suggesting on the forums to cut our spec tree 2pters to 1pt and combine the build-a-beserk talents, but doing work on bears might be too much to ask for as blizzard does its 10th rework on Arcane Mages this xpac. Bear looks like it will feel mostly the same, but a bit less punished this coming season. Whether that amounts to a recommendation to play them or not depends on how much you like to punish yourself. Prot Pally, barring any more changes, is still the king BY FAR.

WW is fun as hell yea but i wish i could get some more defensiv passiv or activ :/ for my SV would it be so great if mongoose byte is playable 😂 tank will still warri till brewmaster finally get the love other ones get 😢 and for holy priest sounds amazing. I play disc in every situation and to have something else i tried some holy but in m+ the only good thing was the manaregg 😂
