just give us a glyph of the blackout strike which change blackout kick, and glyph of tiger strike which changes the tiger palm, so you can use both, or just one and it would give you the classic monk fighting aestetic

I was saying to scrap hero talents and just focus on iterating on all of the talent trees, reworks, and tier sets. As a monk main, this rework was a very nice surprise and am cool with hero talents as long as the base trees feel good

Wish they gave blackout kick a new sfx and animation. It just looks clumsy and sounds like the *miss* sfx, a basic whoosh. Get creative and dramatic, I say. Add some more effects.

It’s worth mentioning the attack speed generated post FoF. It’ll help you get out those thunderfist melees. Currently you don’t auto during FoF or SCK so it’s a nice quality of life improvement

They should really let you choose with your tree if you want buffs to be automated or not. Basically make it to where you have a casual build and a more serious option for people to choose from

#justiceforexpelharm Expel Harm must be on use. it is a heal, a desired 1 Chi at will, and allows for easier combo strikes. Tiger Palm being more energy will make combo strikes harder and missing expel harm will be felt.

Honestly, the only theme for Shado-Pan I can think of is maybe adding stealth (eg. add a stealth and vanish XD). So hype for the WW rework!!! GOSH I WANT TO PLAY IT. Edit: I also love that they're changing Jadefire Stomp, I actually am one of the few monks that loves it.

My main is fun actually and now it sounds amazing 😂uncontrolled means targets that aren't in CC. For pvp really good so you dont box enemys out of sheep or trap 😅 and don't know why you don't like serenity i find it a bomb cd 😂 now i hope blizz will change the mastery like ret palys instead of buffing it, so many spells are now passiv, keeping mastery up with this downtime wont be fun 😢 and hope also they rework or delete tigerstatue has actuall 2min cd and if you place it and the tank needs to move the dmg is complete gone.

So as i understand on 12:00 you use FOF then RSK than Whirlwind then tiger palm than blackout kick for a maximum blackout kick damage?

You missed something, teachings of the monastery makes it hit an additional time. So at 8 stacks when you hit blackout kick it actually hits 9 times including the initial cast and the 8 stacks. Which means against three targets you kick 27 times

Thank god for the reduced bloat. I love monk, have loved it since MoP, but I have never once mained it for that very reason. Every season I bring it out, realise that I need a piano degree to play optimally with at least 3 abilities that add nothing but are mandatory because they sim better... I love to learn complicated specs with a lot of choice and on the fly decisions, but ability bloat doesn't make a spec interesting, particularly when so many monk abilities just do damage with zero interactions with the way the class functions.

Agreed, and it's why I think Ret paly is the best designed melee spec right now - basically zero bloat, the only things you have to worry about are utility abilities that you only use once in a blue moon. Enhance shaman is also suffering from bloat right now, I would totally play it if it was like the Legion version but I don't wanna press 20 keys per second and get carpal tunnel.

WW is my main, i love the class, but it needs some animations upgrades, and also im hoping that i can play as a shado pan in pvp, raiding and mythic plus, i dont like the vibe of summoning things, Xuen i cant tank, but the others... ehhh, no.

Shado-pan hero talent will require some addon tracking in order to have ANY control over the passive and countiing will be going on in the background.... I am dissapointed in this design, not going to lie. Which kind of give me Enhancement SHaman vibe at today state, which I rerolled from as it is not fun in PvP what so ever...

I feel like every spec should have a double jump / dash ability to make the game feel more modern, like nothing beats the feeling when you can fel rush out of harms way or monk roll to a better position. We need more baseline mobility not a capstone abilities like that lighter than air but we as wow players are easy to make in awe with that kind of little things whilst the younger generation is turning their heads elsewhere in embarrassment.

Having expel harm is nice to heal after big hits or prior too them in higher keys so taking away the ability to time it as we please kinda hurts. I also hear we are losing some defensive options in pursuit of minimizing button bloat. I feel we rely on the abundance of defensives due to our low health pool, I’m worried if we don’t get a stam buff we might become a hunter/boomy class that just falls over when something isn’t up.

I love the talent that gives you a 20% chance to kick as an auto instead of an unarmed fist strike but I would still LOVE if we got to use weapons again. One day they will stop being just decorations.

No disrespect here, but I think you picked the wrong class to show off weapons. A big part of monk identity in most games and WoW, too, is that you use your fists as weapons.

Monks started out having the jab ability and its animation was tied to whatever weapon you had. 99% of the monk's kit was unarmed but for that one ability, you swung your weapon. Monks in real life are not solely tied to using just their fists either which is why we have so many examples that are *specifically* tied to the monk identity like the Shaolin Spade and shakujō. I would be perfectly happy having it as a glyph so players can *choose* whether or not they agree with your position or mine.

Honestly there are so many skills that are macro together or passives that just make sense to go with abilities instead of picking them. I wish they would do like they do a stat squish and do a skill squish rework. And redesign the classes to the fantasy they want them to be as. With covenants having so many more abilities thrown into the mix new players are always so lost. It needs more streamlined to keep players coming! The new action targeting they have in game has been feeling really nice not gonna lie!

things like "lighter than air" should really be implemented in other classes (especially agile classes like rogue and hunter) to make the game's movement feel more modernized and fluid like the newer classes do (DH and evoker), great seeing these additions to the game. They did also add the death charger ability to rider of the apocalypse DK which proves how much the game could do with some interesting new movement mechanics, as the publics opinion overall seems pretty in favor of it

As a long time WW main, i'm so hyped for the rework !! They really nailed it, removed the annoying stuff and added so much but still keeping the same prios and feeling of the spec. WINDWALKERS IT'S OUR TIME TO SHINE (i hope) btw everything was aoe before the rework, they really aren't changing much, just pure QoL changes that were long needed and stats revamp.
