Marcellus Wiley recently opened up about the reason he left Fox Sports 1, the transition of Max Kellerman and the legacy of the Skip Bayless/Shannon Sharpe relationship. According to him, Kellerman's seeming silence since leaving ESPN is due to contractual reasons, with the analyst reportedly being paid a handsome severance to do nothing until November. Wiley revealed that he himself left FS1 after contract negotiations led to a substantial pay cut. He now enjoys running his own independent show, a decision influenced by his former agent's successful move to the WWE.
