Focusrite Scarlett vs Clarett+ : Can You Hear A Difference?

I think I heard the difference, on guitars more than on vocals. But as they say, as you stack the takes, it multiplies the effect, this time the effect would be good, I think. Clarett had it that much more so enough trained ears can hear the difference.

clarett's high end sounds more detailed to me. Quite pleasant.

Their pre amps are set so low to get those noise floor stats that they're not really accurate you have to crank themwhich ads hiss...it just does both on the track and the listen back Im moving away now and headed I think to RME

Scarlett sounded dynamically flat and transients are not as punchy as clarett. Clarett sounded much more dynamic, better transients and vibrant. I imagine difference is much bigger without the KZbin compression

Clarett on guitar was noticeably smoother not rounded and much less harsh. Vocals were harder to hear the difference
